Closed an hour and a half early a few days before last Post for Christmas. It was chaos when I walked in. Not an issue with the staff, who I'm sure were pulling their hair out, but they could not provide the service I wanted. At all.

In all honesty I really feel for the staff here, it's not their fault that they are well under staffed, they have long ques at the counter and cannot be two places at once, customers are often rude to them and the staff work so so hard.

The post office was short staffed and not offering all services such as passports. The queue was long and they were prioritising banking customers meaning they didn't have to wait at all and snapping at everyone else.The staff were so rude and patronising. I won't be going there again.

Brilliant service. I'd spent 2 months trying to get my driving licence renewed and with a friendly yet professional service this post office had it sorted in about 5 minutes. I would actively choose to come here rather than my local post office!

saw some negative reviews for this place, but cannot agree with them. went in today to renew my driving licence, there was a big queue but first day open after a bank holiday. the staff were helpful, courteous and friendly. Renewed my driving licence with ease. really happy with the service. Would recommend as aGreat branch

Sadly had same experience as others. Not worthy of even one star. Very dismissive and unhelpful attitude of staff, quite shocked really as haven't encountered this kind of behaviour in a long time. Real shame and bad reflection on post office. Will avoid in future.

Went in fairly late one day. The lady (with the pride lanyard) serving was cashing up and was incredibly rude to the person in front of me. To the point I was visibly shocked. Will not be using your services again and I suggest you replace her before she upsets anyone else for no reason

AVOID THIS POST OFFICE AT ALL COSTSI would give this post-office less stars if it were possible. The blonde lady who works there has absolutely no customer service skills. The way in which she spoke to both my husband and I was rude and down-right disgusting. She shouted at us and practically threw the parcels at my husband. She walked off half-way through "helping" us and we had to go and find her. I have never encountered such an atrocious individual, especially in the service sector. This lady has an awful attitude, she is socially inept and very aggressive. I will be taking this matter further.I would like to say, however, that this review is no way a reflection on the staff at WH Smith who are always friendly and helpful.
