Only one person serving at the counter and the queue was down the Isle! The lady rang the bell for help but no one came. Not good when your in a hurry.

Iceland is a worthwhile shop to consider visiting. They have a very good selection of frozen foods, as their name suggests, as well as unfrozen items.

Everything I needed was easy to find, so got round quickly. Great selection of stuff as always. Lots of staff on too which was nice to see. Got distracted by the great selection of ice creams and desserts and grabbed a few. I buy from here often.

Having returned from Iceland Eastwood can I suggest that as part of your staff's continuing professional development that respect to customers be included and reinforced. Whilst third in line at a checkout for contents in a basket I was rudely told to get in the other line as that was the queue. By the way this bespectacled male employee spoke to me I thought I had been reincarnated as a dog and then gesticulated for me to join the other queue without a please or a thankyou or even an explanation. When I asked the female cashier why the change in lanes she told me because of the impractical lay out at the tills there can be blockages at the cash till that rude boy was on and even though he accepted two more customers both with trolleys.Three things to be gained from this:-1) restyle your check out area so there's no blockages2) let rude/ignorant boy go on a customer services course or better still charm school3) Don't think I'll be bothering spending my money at Iceland again.
