Called in to have a pair of boots re-soled and heeled. The gentleman who served us was friendly and chatty and offered to get the work done whilst my wife and I did the rest of our business in Eastwood. As promised, the boots were ready when we returned.

Wanted to charge me £19.50 to put a new heel on a shoe , but there was no one there to do it as he was off. Went to a independent cobblers in heanor where I got 2 pairs heeled for£20 Nuff said.

I was having a bit of an issue with my phone and as I was passing the shop I thought I would just ask on the off chance. It's not even something they actually deal with but he said 'let's have a look anyway ' with a push of a button it was sorted, making me look as thick as two short planks, but we'll worth it!
