Just been to the giltbrook store. Changed to self service since I last visited. What a shambles. Waited 10 minutes to try and buy perfume, not even acknowledged by staff. Gave up. Then tried to buy mens shaver, Took the empty box to the only manned till, after waiting a further 10 minutes for my turn the cashier left the till to help someone on the self service point. I'd had enough, walked out. Bought the shaver from Argos and the perfume from the perfume shop. Well done boots over £200 sale lost.

Lovely pharmacy & large boots store..can be long pharmacy queues at times but they do move fast & always willing to help, not a long wait either for pharmacist to make up the prescription required.There are self service tills at the front of store.

Used to love this boots with it being my local but the shops been runied now. Went in today and its all self service and one till which is manned but no one was manning this only till. I went over to the pharmacy counter where you can pay only to be told I have to pay for these items at self check out. I'm a 78 year old man and just wanted to buy my shopping at the till and wasn't aloud to. The shops an absolute shambles. For people my age thus is a big problem in a few shops

This branch of Boots is quite small but stocks a great range of products. My only niggle is the self checkout. I loathe them with a passion, luckily they have an assistant on hand to help who put my purchases through. I know many people like the speed of this method but you can't beat good old fashioned customer service.
