There was this female staff working once that wouldn't allow me to return an unwanted xbox that has never been used. Only because it was plugged once. I said I'll take it somewhere else, which I did. I took it to the Ilkeston branch. However, before I arrived there she rang them to warn them about a customer with an xbox. What a low life. I hope you're happy. I still got my refund.

Ordered to collect, got there and they were closed even though it states online they were open. My order says it needs to be collected today so unsure what I?m supposed to do. Very disappointing.

Went in with a very complicated return. I was worried I was gonna be there ages to sort, however the lad serving me (think his name was Max) had so much patience and understanding of my situation, few click of buttons he was basically done! Asked to see the fault, done easily and refunded me so quickly. Absolute amazing service from there cannot complain! And shoutout to Max :)

Easy to find, tucked away in the far left corner of sainsbury's. Would have been five stars if the item had been in stock. Only took an hour to exit the car park. Aparently Kimberley regularly gets gridlocked due to deliveries to a chippy on the main road.

Not one to write reviews but I think on this occasion I need to.My parents needed a new Freeview recorder box as there's was broken so they decided to buy one from here.there not online so I ordered it for them but my dad paid on a click and collect service.i went to pick it up and the service was quick and easy unfortunately that's were it stopped.on taking the new one around to my parents they realized they'd bought the wrong one when they opened the box and took it out but unfortunately had put the batteries in the remote control..that's all they did so they re packed it and rang me to ask if I could take it back seeing the receipt was on my phone.i took it back to be met by Jo the manager who asked me if it been opened I said of course it has but they've bought the wrong one but it hasn't been used they just took out the batteries and put them in the remote control..she then went on to say I'm sorry but I cannot accept this back as it's used!I'm sorry I said are u serious all they've done is put the batteries in and your saying it's used?.she then went on to say there were fingerprints on the casing to which I replied just wipe them off then.it was getting obvious that under no circumstances she was going to take it back which angered me as my dad had spent £40 on something he was now stuck with and to make matter's worse the so called manager gave me the impression she wasn't that bothered.my wife then tried to be met with the same attitude of which she then added you should check before you buy!..sorry no this was a genuine mistake and it's totally unacceptable from a so called manager to come across in the manner she did as being a senior level I would've thought she would've used a bit of common sense and try and resolve the issue instead of well it's your fault attitude.Well we had the last laugh as we took it back to another store were we were met by assistant happy to help and got a full refund so Kimberly Argos you need to train your management to the same level as your other stores as it's clear they don't know what there doing.we will never buy from there again.

they have shut main argos stores and transferred to here some staff pleasant but cant believe they didn't know about nectar points!!!

Sell preowned stuff. Bought an Xbox from here. The batteries came opened, the console was greasy and a cheap ebay plug was put in instead of the proper microsoft one. When I went to take back to another store they refused to take it because the batteries had been opened and they said the console had been used even though I hadnt used it. Then when i took it back to Kimberly they were trying to say nothing wrong was with it even though a cheap ebay plug was shoved in the box. The lady tried to be cocky pulling out a plug to show that it was a proper microsoft even though she pulled out a white plug. Then they wouldnt even give me a credit note so that I could get another one I reserved at another store for the same day, dictating that they will get me a new one the next day even though the terms and conditions clearly state that you can bring it back within 30 days if you change your mind. Bad customer service , NEVER AGAIN!!

Easy to find. Although staff not at counter on arrival they soon came. Dealt quickly with order. Would use this store again as very convenient to pick up goods within 30mins of placing order.

Bought a £400 phone which wadwas in box when we got it hime. Rang them straight away but didn't seem concerned. Offered to reserve one for us as they had none in stock but it would be 5 days. Couldn't believe they didn't query where the phone might be.
