I visit and use this post office a few times a week, it has on street parking which can get busy but there are car parks in the area just a couple of minutes walk away. There is space to park my mobility scooter outside with step free access and grab rails, the layout is straightforward with plenty of room for wheelchairs. Sandra (the postmaster/postmistress) and her staff are very friendly and offer advice and assistance in all post office services. With no bank in the village the office is vital for day to day banking services and with half day Sunday opening goes that step further to help. The shop side provides newspapers and magazines including a 7-day delivery service, it stocks daily essentials, confectionery, drinks and ice creams as well as postal and stationery supplies so whether a local or tourist it's worth nipping in as most items are price marked and not over inflated. Small villages need these core services and I'm more than happy to support my local post office and newsagent. 5 Stars all around.

Ideally situated in the village, but the staff aren?t exactly great when it comes to customer service?

I had some old invalid pound notes from a former journey (45 pounds total). Even in London nobody wanted to change them for me. The very friendly lady in this small town post office changed them for me when she heard that i'm a tourist and have no english bank account. This is customer service at it's best.

Decent shop, basics stocked, staff are quite rude sometimes, just the Post Office counter staff, making visits unpleasant. Shame really as it?s a lovely shop.

What you'd expect from a village shop. Not trying to push products down your neck like the chain shops do. Just an honest, simple shop for you to buy the basics.

It's OK, bit of a mess the shop but it has the basics
