I work for evans halshaw and phoned this branch as i had peug in my dealership and needed some tech advice , the service desk was tremendous and was put onto master tech who again was tremendous. Previous i asked arnold clark who where point blank horrendous, unwilling to share any info . Long live helpful people . Down with arnold clark

I recently purchased a used Peugeot 2008 from Mansfield Evans Halshaw via their buy online in November 2023. The salesperson Jeffrey Mathers contacted me by telephone and arranged a video call to discuss further, after the teams call he confirmed the deal, as it was late on a Thursday evening, he told me how to make the remainder of the payment as I paid cash for the vehicle and I was directed to pay the funds via my online bank account which I promptly did. As it was late on the Thursday evening, I didnt expect confirmation that night, but did expect contact from Evans Halshaw the following morning to discuss delivery of the vehicle and also to confirm they had received the full amount and to provide me with a receipt. On the Friday the following day I waited until lunch time and as I had not heard anything, I firstly sent an email to Jeffrey, to which I had no response, I waited patiently several more hours but decided to call the dealers to find out if i could speak with Jeffrey. I was then told Jeffrey was on his day off, which was very annoying as he had not mentioned this on the call and to make matters worse he not arranged for any other colleaguesto pick yp my sale. I then had to wait until the Monday to pick up discussions. Again i gave Jeffrey time to get to work pick up his emails and respond but again nothing. So I called again to be told he was busy and he wouldd call me back. Eventually he called and confirmed reciept of the money and explained they had to wait for a delivery driver and once they had one he would be in touch. On the Wednesday after hearing nothing, I decided to escalate my concerns and contacted the Peugeot complaints team. I fully explained my position and shortly after a member of the customer service team callled me and explained he had called the dealers and spoken with them and they would be in touch shortly, it was the following day that Jeffrey called me and said we have a delivery driver your car will be with you this afternoon. Later that evening the driver arrived with my new car but upon inspection he pointed out 2 areas of damage and said he was reporting this damage and that I should also contact the garage to arrange repairs. I sent an email to which I got no response so I called the dealers to be told I would get a call back which I didn't recieve again. So again I contacted the customer complaints team, Again they spoke to the dealers and Jeffrey several days later in the week. I explained i wanted my service and damge repaired and that I didnt want to bring the vehicle back to Mansfield and asked if I could take to my nearest garage which upto recently was an Evans Halshaw, although not know at the time, had now been taken over as Ford Stoneacre. As they were not part of Evans Halshaw I then contacted Jeffrey again by email, asking how I can go about getting the service done that is due and the damge repaired, Jeffrey has never responded to my email or calls. I have been busy with a family.member who is terminally ill and so I have not been in a position.to keep.chasing the sales.team So I now have a vehicle that is past its 14 day return policy date. The vehicle has damage that I will now have to pay for to have rectified. The vehicle was not serviced or cleaned upon delivery, I have had to tolerate the fould.smell of stale cigarettes, which was.not made.clear to me that a smoker had previously owned the vehicle.I have had a really poor customer service from this dealership, obviously I am unable to deter anyone from purchasing a vehicle from them, but I can ensure potential buyers are aware of the sales tactics used at this dealership and that they need to avoid if possible.

Would recommend this dealership 1000%All staff are very helpful, Jeff is exceptional and literally went above and beyond to help. Ill definitely be back in the future

My car went in for a repair on the 22nd November. It was only meant to be in for the day and yet they ended up keeping it for 6 days. Communication was shocking and we had to keep going over to peugeot multiple days to see if they had fixed the car. They Didn't bother calling me to let me know my car wasn't done and needed to keep having it over night. They said that the repair is under warranty and i didn't have to pay until the very last day where they said warranty company said no and I now have to pay over £200 to get it fixed. So 6 days later l still don't have a fixed car and wasted my time and energy with this place. I will not be dealing with them agian. ???

Really good customer service from Jeff. Helped me find the car I wanted after going through a few. Brought them in and out the showroom as it was dark until I found what I liked. The hot chocolate is lovely too, so make sure you grab one ?

Can't fault Jeff and the rest of the team. Slight delay with everything going through but it was an external issue and I was kept updated with the situation throughout. My other half also enjoyed the coffee on a rainy Saturday.

Been to this place today to order new motability car,Daniel who we saw was great he went through everything with us so patiently making sure we understood everything, it was a pleasure to be in his company. The manager came and introduced himself to us,lovely friendly people would definitely tell people to use evans halshaw Peugeot at mansfield. Thank you Daniel for making our visit pleasurable.
