I attempted suicid thanx Halifax After 25 years ov been there customer and having successfully paying off my mortgage I had a £2000 overdraft, why when I was £900 in my overdraft would you send me a letter saying as I had never been into the £2000 overdraft I didn't need it so soon after Halifax charged me £60 a month. Citizens advice advised close your account to stop the spiral of debt they created. I did leaving £200 in my account and £160 in my new account with Yorkshire Bank..... 18th December 2017 they the Halifax claimed every penny from both accounts. Leaving me begging Yorkshire Bank for help at which I was charged to cover a bill the next day. I went to Halifax for help. Joke iwas the joke as I couldn't get past security told they won't help as I'm no longer a customer.. 35 years they had me as a customer and after asking at least 3 times for help best advice was you can get straight it is doable. At the time I was loveing on benefits Halifax yes they do go that little bit extra. Ps since this I've had a breakdown your discusting I wanted to end it all thank you

Dreadful unanswered phone calls and first time I called I was cut off after 26 minutes. Called again and continually told they're very busy with wait times over 35 minutes. Not good enough. Call Centre is in Peterborough.

Disgusting attitude and even worse baniking. My friend opened account here and she never received her card and pin. After informing the bank try told her it's her fault for no keeping her card and pin safe which is impossible to keep safe when she never had in her possession. They stole all her money leaving her with nothing to feed her young 2 kids. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Banks are meant to keep money safe but they don't and then blame the victims
