I'm disabled and was turned away by the young lad at 12:30 because they were closing for an hour. This is the 3rd time I have travelled by taxi to renew my driving licence. He was very rude and unhelpful. Would it really have been much effort to clear the queue of 2 people before

My experience at the Mansfield post office was good. They were busy but they were managing the customers well and trying to get through as swiftly as possible.

The staff at mansfield post office were very helpful. The queue times were long but you could see they were still trying to get through every customer efficiently. The Indian lady in particular helped me pick the best option for my service and the most cost efficient.Would recommend, good service here.

The Staff are brilliant, they are always busy, but not everyone understands what they have to contend with like all the abuse they must receive. People need to have patience they do an outstanding job. Well done to staff @ Mansfield Post office.

Only 2 staff during the lunch rush. One training and didn?t know how to do passports. The queue was mainly passports. The other staff member had to help on ever detail as he had no idea. So one slow person required full training and full attention of the only other person. Effectively one untrained person dealing with the entire queue

They are quite clearly short of staff so to that extent I can't fault them for the long waiting times, however there doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency from the staff members either. The Indian lady in particular is quite abrupt and rude, only after I responded in kind did her attitude dropped down a peg.

No one around when I was there at 12.30 today, two other people waiting. Just a sign at the beginning of the queue line saying closed. No explanation at all I left and will go back later.

If I could put 0 I would. The Asian lady is the rudest person I've ever dealt with. Went to change pound into euro and she wouldn't tell the the rate for £100, she also didn't tell me about the lower rate of 1.05 when spending that amount until I questioned her. She makes the prices up as she goes along. Will never return there again.

Complete waste of my time visiting this morning: purpose of visit to renew my driving licence. Told machine had stopped working after waiting 15+ minutes. Had to go to Sutton-in-Ashfield to renew instead. At the other branch I was informed they had a lot of customers regularly come over from Mansfield.Apparently the machine (a computer tablet) needs a mobile phone signal to work, it was made to work at Sutton by the employee walking it to the entrance of the store. This is clearly an ongoing issue at Mansfield where they can't be bothered to make it work and should stop pretending that they offer the service to renew your driving licence

States on post office official website and on Google that it closes at 5:30pm. Went down today (Saturday 22nd April) to find it closed and nobody there. Please update your website and Google information as I have wasted money on fuel and parking to find it closed!!

I always hate going to Mansfield Post office, for 3 main reasons. The first is that despite there being 5 kiosks, I have only ever seen two being staffed. This leads to massive queues and when you only have a 30 minute lunch break and it's a 10 minute walk there and back.Secondly, one of the staff members there is so incredibly rude. He can be quite chatty at times but most of the time he's rude. Today he asked someone if they could read, just because they went to the counter for gas and electric, which wasn't working. Granted, there was a large sign declaring as such, but there was still no need to be rude about it. What if she couldn't read? Or English wasn't her first language? Or she was blind!? Either way it would've cost him nothing to be polite. He was rude to every customer I saw him serve in one way or another. And lastly, the 5th kiosk. On a regular basis I'll be queuing and someone will wander in from the other side and get served. Why is this? Is it because it's for exchanging currency? It needs to be signposted better, and even so, I can't see why they're given priority when there are only 2 tills open! Half the time they're not even there for currency!Overall, Mansfield Post Office is an appalling place to visit and if there was another option I'd happily go elsewhere. Seriously, either give that staff member his P45 or some customer service training! Some equality and diversity training wouldn't go amiss either. And definitely employ more than two people at a time. I've seen how much you charge for stamps!
