Arrogant service advisor. Booked my vehicle for an 8:30 oil service, arrived 10min before as requested, only to be told they could only start the oil change at 13:00.Was told they had carried overs from the previous day!Poor workshop scheduling/ loading, lack of communication with customers, and an incompetent front office who have no idea what customer service entails. I cancelled and requested a refund.

Took my wife's car to Halford's for its MoT. One issue needed to be sorted. All done now by Halfords. They are busy - which is a good sign I think - so you will need to book with plenty of time. Thanks to Brandon for sorting the car. I would recommend.

It's ok if you get a deal online. However, costs to fix your car...forget it!! Astronomical!! Shop around. Believe me, you can get work done half the price.

I had an MOT and Service booked in at Halfords because my normal local garage (where I have taken my car for years and is amazing was over run and couldn't do it before the MOT ran out). They did the MOT, the car passed but on the Advisory they said that I need some new brakes etc, They quoted around £1000 for the work but I declined it as I prefer to take it to my own local garage. They have just let me know there is absolutely nothing that needs replacing and there are no problems!I know very little about cars and have to trust what mechanics are telling me is true, I thought Halfords was a trustworthy brand as I couldn't use my local garage. Never again!!!!

Book in for a time slot to be told it will be 2 hours till my car is looked at. The staff member was abrupt and only wanted to do 1 of the jobs I'd asked for. Didnt stay to get work done . Won't be going back.

Took my wife's car in for a Service and MOT. Staff are always very friendly and prices are very competitive. Centre Manager Graham always takes the time to discuss any works being done on your vehicle and is super helpful with any queries or concerns about your car. Honestly can't fault the team over at Halfords Autocentre Newark. Top notch service!

I've had my car serviced there twice and had no complaints. I've taken it there for its third service and the actual work was done fine. However the online service history that my car has, has not been updated. The Autocentre has done it the first two times without any difficulty however now after three phone calls and almost a month later there's been no update. The last phone call's response was: "well I've e-mailed the guy who does that and he should have done it so if it's not done at the end of the week just call again mate".I cannot understand why it is such a difficult thing to do suddenly and I think it's reasonable for my car to have a full documented service history.
