All the staff are really helpful and the manager Mrs Hussle really sorted our payment problem and then phoned us yesterday to check we were ok with it all. Great service it really is.

The HSBC website shows this branch has ?counter service?The branch does NOT have proper counter service and I was unable to pay cash into our HSBC Charity Account by way of a HSBC paying-in book. My local branch has now closed so I travelled 18 miles to the Newark Branch. What a waste of time and effort. This is a sad apology for a bank IMHO

Went into the branch to open an account for an Ukrainian lady we are sponsoring. All the staff in the Branch were really friendly. We dealt with Ben - who was super! Well done for excellent customer service and a really good experience!

I went to pay in a cheque today and once again the bank was closedended up driving all the way to lincoln.at least the lincon branch doesn't have a misserable young lady behind the counter though with zero customer service skills like the Newark branch has.

Awful service! their speed work is terrible! I am not sure that i am in the right bank especialy seeing service from other places like (for example) from my partner's bank barclays, everything is going so quick in there! Shame HSBC, Shame!!!

Useless. I wait ages to speak to my local bank and I'm then put through to speak to an American in a Call Centre. I may as well put my money under the mattress, at least I'll be able to talk to myself to check the balance and investments!

I can understand why so many branches are closing down... They just have too many people needing face to face services.
On a side note, this is a criminally convicted banking corporation that doesn't care about you or the UK.

This is who I do my banking with, friendly and helpful staff, also this is the only bank that I know with an ATM that can withdraw £5 notes.
