Just been served by a rude and very abrupt owner who appeared to be extremely put out that she had to stop what she was doing to weigh a parcel and sell me some stamps. I have been served on many occasions by other counter staff who are friendly, helpful and polite. I see that other reviewers report similar issues when served by the owner. Such appalling service does not bode well for the future of this small village post office.

I have tried 3 times to post my review but it seems to disappear!No matter, upshot is I will never use that place again unless I want to intimidated by the rude and arrogant owner..

Same experience as the other 1 star reviews, I don?t usually bother leaving poor reviews for a business but the lady owner was so rude I just walked away. I won?t use this post office. Previously the other staff have been very friendly and helpful but this visit has ruined that.

Poor, horrendous experience using the Post Office, simply trying to collect a redirected parcel for my husband became farcical. You can't collect your spouse's parcels, what is that?! Never use this post office unless you have 5 types of ID and you can spell your name backwards...

Very poor customer service from the owner. When employees serving all is fine - they are nice and helpful. But a lady owner is awful - rude and arrogant, every time! She don?t know what a good customer service mean. People like that shouldn?t work at the counter.

Lady was very unhelpful. She even refused to accept our proof of identity when collecting a parcel. Was told by her to come back when someone else was working.

I went to post some photos to USA.I forgot my glasses the lady almost threw apiece of paper to me and said "you need to complete it Correctly " I told her I didn't have my glasses she was no help and there was no one else in the post office.....that was my last visit

My elderly mother had the same problem as Ben (see his comments below) this is exactly what happened to my mother this woman is very rude and should not be on any customer service counter it's a shame because everybody else is so pleasant...

Great local PO, efficient, helpful and friendly staff (and saves driving in to Newark). Cal and the other ladies do a fantastic job. We drop off a bag of packages every other day using the 'drop and go' service. The items are processed normally straight away. Be grateful that a local post office still exists in your area.

I've visited on 3 occasions, 2 of which the Asian lady behind the post office counter was rude and unhelpful. On the first occasion I approached the counter with a large parcel which even though she wasn't inside the Post Office room yet she refused to take off me, all accompanied by a snarky remark. On the second occasion I asked for recorded delivery on a letter, to which I was told "we don't do recorded delivery and we never have done". Yes you do, it's a common name for "signed for" - you're just being pedantic and petty to compensate for whatever is wrong in your life. Get over yourself, you work in a Post Office.
