Went in here last Thursday. Not much of an atmosphere, did feel the place was messy and down at heel. Drinks prices are ridiculous for a gin and tonic and a pint of cider it was 16 pounds could have bought a bottle of gin for that

Incredible experience and we really enjoyed the historic feel. ? Fish and chips was out of this world and we went just after Christmas so the decor was gorgeous ?Dietary restrictions: Menu not always accurate/consistent with allergies so would recommend you double check.
Originally built in 1452, the building that houses The Prince Rupert is a true historical gem and is a must-see stop on Newark’s Civil War Trail.
