Item was purchased on 30th June this year. 5 months later item developed a fault and Argos are refusing to replace / repair the item suggesting I need to take this up with the manufacturer.When will retailers realize My contract is with the RETAILER! NOT the MANUFACTURER. as is stated in the Consumer rights act.The item has to be fit for purpose which my item now isn't. YOU need to accept responsibility instead of trying to wash your hands and hand the responsibility to the manufacturer.Very poor service Argos and surprisingly as I'd always held you in pretty high regard up to this point.

I am absolutely appalled by the continuous level of fobbing off by Argos in store staff including managers Despite reassurance by head office that manger/staff would be made aware of consumer rights, the store once again continuously fails to provide consumers the service expected. I visited the store today, explained and shown the vacuum cleaner wheel clearly not detached, the vacuums are meant to be of good quality, since purchasing it no end of problems.Instead here we go again, been signposted to manufacture to deal with, only then for the deputy manager Craig to come across dismissing my rights and walking off leaving me to deal with it, he insisted I should provide him with a reference before he can do anything (insane). I showed him the receipt, explained head office had upheld my previous complaint he then wanted a name and clearly was not bothered about looking at the vacuum itself.The item has 2 years warranty, manufactures have already stated it is up to the retailers to deal with the consumers direct, but still for some reason the store managers will not.This is wasting consumer time and breaching consumer rights to seek any form of remedy. No resolution was offered.

Argos used to be my favourite store duw to perfection in their online system as well as exceptional customer services.BUT not anymore. Very often there are issues since the pandemic started. You sometimes don't receive the text msg after the payment. You often won't even receive an emailed receipt and then it would be a pain if change of mind to prove you bought it when? Literally now i placed 2 separate orders at the same time. I got text message for 1 order and not for the other. All these issues are goin on for over 2 years but nothing has been done to improve or correct it.

Manager Craig went to a lot of trouble to help my mum look for a suitable washing machine and arranged delivery for when I could be at my mums to help her top notch service

Really bad experience, complete lack of communication and transparency from staff when it comes to orders. Despite them taking money from me they didn?t even let me know the order was not available anymore as it out of stock. I had to call to find out, they didn?t bother letting me know- as obviously it?s not their money so what do they care. Only way to make a complaint is by sending a letter via post. I will make sure to avoid shopping at Argos in the future. Despicable

Just wanted to put on here, the employee Kaci was very helpful she was so polite and incredible! Was very quick with her job duties, I had an issue with the order but instead of complaining went out her way to discuss an outcome which benefited me and was very happy with the outcome.
