Fantastic family meal at Bella Italia last night. Our waiter/manager Sam was absolutely first class. We were on our way to the panto and only had a short time to have a meal before the show started but Sam reassured us he would make sure we were served without any delay which he did in a very professional and friendly way.The food was really good and quite reasonable. Great location too!Highly recommended.

I have tried a few Bella Italian restaurants... Bury, Telford, Liverpool all lovely but never have I experienced such bad food and service as I did in Nottingham. Dried up overpriced starters. Main course was dry tasteless pasta like it came out of a microwave, the waiter was arrogant and unhelpful. Definitely NOT worth a

The lads serving we're lovely however unfortunately its where the good bit ends.Very slow service..we was seated and 20mins passed before we was asked about drinks,as we sat there trying to get attention but was not to be.Sorry but the food was bland and tasteless, and after we had finished and the plates had been taked we was sat waiting for the bill, till had to ask for it and then once the bill had been given had to wait another 15-20 mins to try and pay ti i just went upto the bar to pay...WHAT IS IT WITH MAKING PEOPLE WAIT TO PAY THE BILL..WAS TEMPTED TO WALK OUT...POOR FOOD AND WORSE SERVICES.Needless to say will not be going there again and can not recommend the place at all. Very Disappointing all round!!

The food is average.. the pizza sauce tasted like uncooked tomatoes, the polo fungi pasta was cold, lack a taste and the chicken!I am a bit surprised by all the 5 stars comments .. the meal really disappointed us!

I used to really love this place but they are starting to remove their amazing vegetarian options. It was great that there was a lot of options, some that I haven't had elsewhere. They've stopped doing their vegetarian burger with Applewood cheese and the chicken and bacon orzo.

We were taken care of by the lovely Ollie. (The mental maths were on point!) He couldn?t have done more for us and was really accommodating with those of us who were vegan. The food was so nice we were stuffed. Can?t wait to come back!Vegetarian options: Very tasty!

Wonderful food and great service. We had a lovely welcome from Sophie who looked after us throughout the meal. She helped us with the menu selection and checked that everything was ok before leaving the table.

Went to Bella Italia tonight with my better half and our 2 boys the service was amazing Josh went above and beyond to make sure our evening went well. backed by a great team Sam and Ragnor engaged my boys in conversation and were super friendly. Our oldest boy is autistic and Josh absolutely made his evening. Definitely a five star experience and well worth a visitKid-friendliness: Josh, Sam and Ragnor make a great team my boys 9 years and 13 years enjoyed there evening fully.

Great atmosphere, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, they helped us with the menu and our dietary requirements. The food on the other hand is a sad story. It was very lacking in taste and in portion size. The portions are small relavent to the price. We ordered rlthe seafood risotto, which was very bland. The other entrees were so small that barely made any noticeable presence. We left the restaurant still feeling hungry. I think this is another addition to the "shrinkflation" that is plaguing the UK service industry. Sadly, this restaurant does a disservice to Italian cuisine.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE- I ordered off deliveroo and placed an order for two Mac and cheeses. A simple dish which is hard to mess up - but congrats to them on making the worst and most inedible food ever. The Mac and cheese was so bland but also bitter at the same time. It had no seasoning or flavour apart from some dried herbs which was absolutely disgusting. I?ve never had a worst dish in my life. I?ve contacted both them and deliveroo and they said they can?t give me a refund it was so disgusting I wouldn?t even feed it to my worst enemy or even an animal because it?s so sickening. Don?t even think about ordering from here because you will be disappointed and sick because of how bad it is. I?ve just spent £20 and it?s gone down the drain because I can?t even take another bite of anything I ordered it is that bad!!!!!!!!!!!

The service of this restaurant was very good, staff very friendly and approachable. The food however is the real downfall. I ordered spaghetti bolognese and it arrived within 5 minutes. This felt much too fast. I cannot be certain but I feel like my meal was microwaves especially as it was piping hot around the edges and fairly cold in the middle. I paid £21.18 in total which felt like way too much especially as I spent £7.59 on a strawberry daiquiri which felt way too small for that price.

This was a great place to visit with very friendly and welcoming staff. The food was excellent and of high quality. It was quite quiet when we were there (on a Saturday afternoon) otherwise I'm sure that I would have rated it five stars for atmosphere as well!
