India spoke to me straight away,I told her my concerns with my new glasses wasn't happy with the way they were sitting and frame. She suggested changing them with me being in the 30 day return. I choose my new glasses which India liked too. Nothing was too much trouble,I went away a happy customer thank you ?

I was very anxious because I had developed a problem after a recent cataract operation and needed an eye check before I could be re-referred to the Eye hospital.I was offered an appointment the same day, had a very thorough eye check and the optician carefully diagnosed the issue and said he would immediately send the details to the Eye Hospital.

could not book my appointment online it kept coming up unable to find pageso i booked over the phone i no problem booking my appointmentDid,nt have to wait long for my eye test in and out no problem i thimk the 3D exeray is expensive

Freddy and Charlotte were amazing with assisting and helping sort the glasses for my child. Polite, Courteous and very knowledgable and yeah quite some very good recommendations too that made work very simple and easy

Been attending the opticians for some years and it's always a great experience. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, explaining everything and answering any questions. Special shout out to Jane who helped both myself and my husband select new glasses, she was so helpful! New varifocals with all the trimmings are not cheap here, but if you're on the contact lens scheme it gets softened somewhat to half price. Won't go anywhere else now. Thanks to all the team

As I was sitting in the darkness in the area where the initial tests are done, and just before the beginning of the examination, I felt overwhelmed after a long series of repetitive and quite loud questioning about the reasons for my asking for an appointment a month before I was due one according to the NHS requirements. The person who was attending me diagnosed there and then, without any examination, that my blurred vision was caused by hay fever, which, after proper examination, turned out to be not the case. She also told me that I would have to pay for the examination if it turned out that my vision had not changed which seemed to be the reason for her relentless questioning. This declaration the manager later confirmed was not true. I left quite upset, but then returned to ask to talk to the manager about how to retrieve my records so that I could go to another optician?s, and during that conversation she confirmed that what I had been told by the first person was not true and arranged an examination where the thorough optometrist discovered that indeed my vision had changed and deteriorated and that this was not due to hay fever. Once the manager took charge, everything went very well. She monitored my examination and took part in it. So, it would really be 0 stars to the first attendant and 5 to the resolution organised by the manager. Also, 5 stars to me for my resilience.

Kayleigh is a true merit to the Nottingham options team. She was professional and friendly to me and my mum. Her service went above and beyond. She noticed I was wearing a loughborough uni hoodie and asked me about uni, and mentioned she lived in loughborough too which made me feel welcomed. Not only that, but I mentioned that I wanted to become a pilot, and she went above and beyond giving me personal advice and guidance, encouraging me to follow my passion. She revealed that her husband is a pilot which is a crazy coincidence, telling me that becoming one is such an amazing thing to do and I shouldn?t give up. I can?t thank Kayleigh enough. I?ll remember her level service for a long time. Thanks to Kayleigh?s encouragement I?ll be doing pilot training. Her act of kindness will have an impact on my life forever. She?s a true Gem, not only to boots, but to the local community. Thank you so much Kayleigh. You are truly incredible.

I called in store today with myGlasses right arm detached from frame it was explained to me by hazel could notBe repaired which I very was unhappy about as only purchased last year at great cost however can i just say a BigThank you to Hazel whom tryed everthing to help so new frames purchased and going back Tommrow to collect Thank youHazel

From a poor experience 3 years ago, I was hoping my faith in Boots Opticians in Victoria Centre Nottingham would be restored. The pre-eye test, the eye test and the purchase of several new glasses & sunglasses went OK, but about a week later with the new glasses I start getting headaches and a fuzziness in the right eye.To be fair I was given a full refund no questions asked. Did I want another eye test? Nope.Went to Specsavers and the eye test showed I actually didn't really need to change. Boots sold me a prescription and glasses I didn't really need.In the end I did get new glasses from Specsavers only because the frames on my then current glasses were knackered.
