After seeing products stocked at currys I thought I would pop in for a browse.\\n\\nAs you walk in you get the feeling there more bothered about being on there mobile phones than customer service, virtually all the counter staff on them, I did spot Facebook on one handset\\n\\nIt sort of gets ones back up when you walk into a shop of there supposed stature and are greeted by that.\\n\\nI was not smartly dressed or looking like I had wealth, but I had gone in for a new iMac and a iPad Pro with the possibility of a new iPhone 13\\nAfter walking around I got the feeling no one cared so left.\\n\\nAbsolutely disgusting shopping experience in all my 47 years\\n\\nI ended up shopping at John Lewis and saved money and there customer service is outstanding, everyone was busy attentive and of a happy to help nature\\n\\nI will never shop with curry?s again!\\n\\nJohn Lewis 10 and £4500\\nCurrys 0

Looking for new hoover, so went to Currys to have a look. The store is extensively stocked with all manner of electrical goods, but easy enough to navigate around. We were looking at the new Dyson machines and fortunately a very knowledgeable store rep took us through the whole range, and demonstrated as he went. This made it much easier to make our choice.\\nHave used Currys previously and always get good service and support so would recommend to all.

Quite poor. Waited 45 minutes to try and buy a laptop, no Curry's staff available in the dept... Seemed to be plenty walking around in other areas chatting to colleagues, a Google guy who wanted to help but can't check stock..... Ended up ordering online with free next day delivery.

Staff are often disengaged and not prepared to talk to customers. Often seen in groups, ignorant of your presence and just nattering among themselves. Generally the managers, if you can find one, have fairly good product knowledge but the \\\"kids\\\" don't.\\n\\nOften a good proportion of the goods stocked are not on display (e.g. computer keyboards) and they are reluctant to open a box so you can really look at what you're buying.\\n\\nWhen I have asked to return a product, they try and persuade me to make an exchange against another product because they say it is \\\"easier\\\". What nonsense, particularly in light of how the place operates for potential buyers (above)!\\n\\nSo on this basis nowadays I tend to use Amazon.\\n\\n****BUT****: The Currys PC World at Newark is much better - attentive staff, good product knowledge and good displays. If you can travel, you should be happy with the offering at Newark.

Went to buy a washer. There were two at the main doors with a large sign.
" Take home today. Hoover washer reduced. Was £ 329 now £ 259."
We asked to buy it, the sign was taken down and we were told they would meet us halfway.
I didn't know you had to negotiate.

Looking for a freezer. Bit disappointed there wasn't any Bosch upright freezers. Oh and that awful music that was so loud and dreadful. Helen was helpful though

Why bother, stay at home and read better cheaper websites that offer a better deal and quicker delivery. Staff instore refer to their phones or store computers to answer questions no-one has any background knowledge in any products sold in-store. No real sale pitch anymore no help or advise (unless it's written on their website to read).

Now a combined store instead of two on the same site. Very helpful young sales assistant gave me useful and understandable advice. Well laid out store.

Large store on 2 levels. No toilets in the store. No stockroom so only stock they have is normally out on the shop floor. TVs piled together. Be careful.when buying TV as they always try to sell you first month's insurance on your products for free. They've already taken your bank details abd payment will be taken so it's up to you to cancel it if you no longer need it. Lots of parking on the retail park.
