“We had ordered Two Duresta sofas from Hopewells and knew there would be a long waiting time for delivery. Sadly, after several months waiting, one sofa was accidentally damaged during the delivery and we were very disappointed. “Lovely tea. The shop is lovely as are the staff. I like the tester teas.I have a question though, why are you allowing Amazon to charge £16-£18 instead of £10. For people who don’t have the luck to live in Nottingham it’s a shocking markup.My daughter paid £49.89 for three teas, and that included £6 discount because she bought three.It would have been £30 from your shop.”

“This homebase lived up to my expectations of what a homebase should be like.I personally am not a big fan of the chain of shops they are not as good as B&Q's in my opinion.This store has a nice large car park which is convenient for large vehicles or people towing trailers.”

“Today I couldn’t give less than 5 stars. My focus is on Michael he went beyond his duties for me. I had a pen and pencil set from my late mum for my 18th I used it all the way through collage and my employment. The pencil lead stopped working then the pen ink. I tried back in 2001 but! Wasn’t successful in getting them sorted. So I just saved them. Jump many years I went into Rymans I got the pen sorted I didn’t think I’d find a replacement ink for this type of pen then the following day I took the pencil in. Michael he sent a good 15mins sorting the pencil trying different leads sorting how it worked where to put the lead. He taught me something which I never knew. I got the pencil sorted and I can’t be happier. Michael was helpful friendly knowledgeable this is what you need from shop staff. Thank you for all your help.”

“Not a cheap discount store BUT good quality mid price lasting products that will last a long time without needing to be replaced so is more economical than buying cheapThe staff and service are excellent and second to none a real pleasure to shop thereMy first place of call when I need kitchen or cleaning products(Why buy 10 cheap ones when you can buy one at the price of 5 cheap ones and it last 10 times longer)After service and advice are excellent also”

“Everything you need in one store its brilliant love how much choice there is avaliable but unfortunately the only downside was how rude the staff were at the tills, no smiles, no hellos I even helped her empty the basket and she huffed at me and she couldn't even look at me it made us feel disappointed at the end.”

“Just went to Wickes to buy some DIY tools and Luke was an absolute chap. He was really helpful and quite knowledgeable too. Took me through a range of different things to consider when buying tools. 11/10 would recommend Luke to any one who wants to know more about products before buying.@Wickes give this man a raise!”

“This is a decent wickes in a convenient location.It has a reasonably large carpark that will fit a van and a large trailer, provided the shop isn't usually busy.The shop itself is well stocked and generally has what I need whenever I have been in for trade or DIY related items.Often, I have found wickes to be very competitively priced for sand and cement.”

“I visited the Bulwell store on 20/06/2023 around 1.30 in the afternoon.I couldn't find what I was looking for as I could not see it on the shelf.However, the two young men on the wearhouse floor was incredibly helpful, nothing was to much trouble.I thank you both for your helpfulness, kindness and answeing my qustions. that I thank you both for, left the store with everything I needed.No upsell which I like.Thanks lads :)”

“I enjoy John Lewis for its great quality products and friendly, helpful service. The gentlemen who assisted me and my partner in choosing a bed mattress and frame was very friendly and informative. However, when trying to buy pillows, duvet and sheets, it was difficult to find staff. This wasn't by staff’s lack of trying, it was just very thin on the ground. As a side, the restaurant was poor. While staff were very friendly and items were nice, the state of the place was terrible. We had to clear our own tables to enjoy a drink, and this wasn’t the first time. Ignoring this, the department store service was good, but could be improved with adequate staff levels.”

“We went to look at wardrobes. We were greeted by someone called Dawn who pointed us to where they were in the store. Dawn spoke to us about different styles, sizes, prices and delivery time. We didn't feel pressurised by your typical sales person. We bought a wardrobe thanks to Dawn's personal care.”

“Great customer service. I took back a DVD drive as it was faulty, and had a 2 year manufacturer warranty, and was 19 months old. I did not have the original receipt, only credit card statement. I expected them to tell me to contact the manufacturer, but they traced the purchase on the system from the purchase date, then just swapped it for a new one. Very happy!”
