A young very polite gentleman changed my wipers, I asked his advice about the blades, he was very helpful and his manners were second to none, it?s always good for customer service with this level of politeness.If I could remember his name I would have mentioned it here. But well done Halfords netherfield for employing such employees with a care for customer service. Definitely a 5 stars from me.

Ordered some cycling shoes from click and collect. Got home after busy day shopping opened the shoes and they were the wrong ones. Trail back and got the correct ones after queueing for 20 minutes and not even an apology from the guy serving. Awful

The communication was good and my purchase was ready as I was informed, but when I arrived and showed the confirmation e-mail I was asked for my surname and then before I was given the items I was asked for my first name. How about either using one method or the other rather than implying that I would have to give the number and then not accepting it.

Absolutely shocking service. Went in specifically for a bike trailer that wasn't in stock anywhere else, wasn't there with the pithy excuse of "stock error". This is a trailer for kids, whom we had with us and the attitude of the staff who gladly chatted to someone with a problem a scooter for a long time even though they couldn't actually help. Maybe you don't sell many trailers because they're not set up, or in stock or you're just a bunch of lazy jobsworths. You make them, so maybe put some effort into selling them.

Shocking waiting over an hour to change car light bulbs . It never happened couldn't do them told lies said they wasn't aloud to remove parts off my car reason for this they didn't have a clue what to do . Taken my car home did them my self save a fortune never will I ask for help there

Not happy, told me twice to come and collect, then not ready and now I've paid more for battery, just over a week ago it was £325, now it's gone up to £375, so am out of pocket .

Not the best customer experience took our electric bike in for a puncture repair after asking days before if the did electric bike they said yes took it in today they said no they don't do them you have to take your own wheel off first if I was confident in doing that I would of fixed it myself there was an older person with them he was great helpful said leave it with them they did do it but two with bad attitude and one fantastic you sell electric bike sure you should be able to fix them

Arrived at the retail park and my car key fob started to play up so I took an unexpected trip into Halfords for a new battery.To save me looking as I had my 3yr old with me, I went straight to the counter. I asked the 1st guy if he had the right type of battery for my key as it wasn't locking my car. He took it off me without saying a word. He then looked confused, pulled the key out the fob and put back in, then took it to a 2nd guy who was within the checkout area on the opp side of it, but talking to a 3rd colleague on outside of checkout area. He pretty much did the same thing and then handed to the 3rd colleague. Eventually they got it open. Then 1st guy went and got the battery, 2nd and 3rd guy worked together to switch out the battery and put the key fob back together. All the whilst I was not spoken or communicated to, I was just stood there on the opp side. However I did think well least they're showing a bit of customer service by fitting it for me even if they're not speaking to me...I was finally aknowledged when 1st guy came back to the till, handed me the packet with another battery still in it and said it was for my spare (was a pack of 2) and then asked for £14.50!! I thought jeez that's expensive for 2 batteries, but I paid as I needed it.It was only after I got the receipt I realised I was charged £7(!!!) for them to fit the battery! It's shocking to even charge that much to fit a penny sized battery, let alone when you have poor customer service to go with it. If I had known I would of done it myself, but as mentioned above I was just left at the till opp side to them, not being told anything!I only asked what battery I needed, I didn't ask for it to be fitted nor did they ask me if I wanted it fitted, but then charged me almost the same price as the batteries for the privaliage!! I think at £7, you should at least ask the customer if they want to pay that. And maybe bring the item to the customer 1st to check they're happy with the price of that too! Also this would then be a great time to ask if you'd like it fitted for an extra charge.I'm so glad the last time I went in there for a number plate screw, the guy (who was super helpful, from the bike desk) didn't follow me out and fit it for me...dread to think the extra charge on that!Perhaps Halfords should think about having a price list on their desk for fitting charges if their staff aren't going to communicate.

Item is fine, but communication wasn't as it should have been. I didn't receive any confirmation that the item was ready to collect; I had to call customer services, and then wait whilst they called the store to find out that it was actually there. Not how I wanted to spend my lunch break.

Extremely happy with the result and the young gent that assessed my car and did the actual repair was fantastic and very informative, helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend this service.
