I would give 5 stars but they gave my click and collect order to someone else. Waited half an hour in store for them to find the same pair of shoes but they managed to find one and sort it out, the manager (i think he was a manager) gave me a discount for the trouble so fair play to them for sorting it out ?

Awful customer service. Lady at the shoe area was fine but guy behind the till on the evening of 11 Feb (seems to be the manager too!) needs a brush up on customer service. Shouting at customers to approach the till like they are deaf or slow is completely unacceptable.

First visit was told to order it online, didn't seem too interested she was just people watching. Today we were told that they wouldn't process any returns because they were too busy, and would do it tomorrow... This came from management apparently. Well I don't run a business but I'm pretty certain you'll be as busy tomorrow, with even more returns to process.

This shop is a must if you have teenager's. Recently I was in hospital so the time had lapsed for me to get a refund on a pair of trainers I bought my son. I purchased them online and had lost the paper which comes with it, that details the order and receipt numbers. The young man who served me was fabulous and went out of his way to assist me as quickly as possible because I still didn't feel well. I expected a credit note but they gave me a full refund. Great service and on trend clothing.

Visited the store on Clumber Street today with my daughter to purchase some Vans shoes, she tried the size on display 5.5 & told the shop assistant that she wanted to purchase some, after 20 minutes we was told that was infact the last pair & one shoe was very dusty as it had been on display, I asked for a discount as I know that JD have a policy that if a pair of trainers or shoes are the last pair they have to put them on the reduced rail, the Indian girl manager with the long was approached by the shop assistant & she basically spoke to him in such a degrovitive tone her body language was totally unacceptable and unprofessional She refused to reduce the price. Clearly in breach of shop policy.Furthermore She was stood at the front of the store doing nothing the whole time I was in the store. Not only did JD loose the sale of the shoes I also put back over £300 worth of goods I was going to purchase.After witnessing this I will no longer be shopping at JD stores again.

Terrible service, one worker avoided me twice when he did serve me he was very rude. When I returned to store to buy a pair previously tried on it took over 20 mins to bring out the box. Which is ridiculous
