“Finally got to dine here yesterday, making use of a voucher I received as a birthday gift to enjoy the 10 course lunch menu.Of course the astonishing menu loaded with creativity and depth of flavour is the star of the show here as it is in any restaurant, however it would be unforgiveable for me not to shout out the incredible team that make it even more of a magical experience. Most of all I have to thank my warm, attentive waiter who made me feel at home and my impressively knowledgeable and clearly very passionate sommelier who could sell wine to a lifelong teetotaler. They provided top notch yet wholly unpretentious service and came equipped with good conversation and banter which made me forget that I was dining alone. I was given a lovely little present to leave with however to avoid spoiling people's experiences I won't ruin the surprise.”

“Ordered a new mattress from this company. I even brought my bed from these a good few years ago. Was told 2 week wait but got phone call about 6 days later saying its in store to be delivered Thursday so a week earlier than they thought. GREAT BUSINESS.”

“Easy to find from Train station it’s around corner on main road. Booking in was easy and ladies in reception were very friendly and efficient. Room was normal clean premier inn rooms only thing was a smoke smell so we opened windows and went out into town. Didn’t have breakfast but we did have a pint ? night before. Definitely will stay againNearby activities: Ideal for Nottingham Forest and Notts county or any city centre visit”

“Great location, and the ambience is wonderful, but 4 of us ordered a set meal for 3 as my wife doesn't have much appetite due to medical treatments, and I think we got a meal for 2 persons very small portions and very expensive £30 per person the drinks are also very expensive £8 for a glass of white eine and £3.80 for a small bottle of Chinese beer 250mlWould not recommend it but the staff were very helpful and good”

“Click and collect was very quick and easy to use, the food was great as normal. I made quite a large order of bed and mattress and I have no complaints with the quality, and it was easy to assemble and fairly priced.”

“Very well located and kept site, plenty of room between camp plots, shower and washing facilities very modern and roomy with good kitchen facilities. Shop on site with basic supplies. Cloud do with better advanced signage on approach as it's on a fast road and a tight turn into site.”

“Wandered in during a walk with my dog, very welcoming landlady. I’d never been before but we were friends in moments and I’ll be sure to go again soon. It’s not child friendly which suits me perfectly but should be noted for walkers with children. Very dog friendly, lovely warm fire on a misty icy walk and a beautiful! Highly recommended.”

“the only issue i had was parking ....be warned ..if you dont book a parking slot at the premier inn you will be charged the full parking price at the q park nearby ...ie it cost us £40 from fri 10 pm till sun 11.30 am ....!!...the q park is a 10 min walk to premier inn on goldsmith ”

“We had a lovely carvery on Sunday. The place was pretty busy but we were able to get a table for a birthday meal. The meat was nicely cooked and there was a good selection of pork, ham, turkey and beef. There was a better than usual selection of vegetables too. ”

“Spent an age here, trying to decorate a spare bedroom. Eventually found everything we needed got home and we'd picked up the wrong sized curtains. Returned the same day, no quibble, they assisted us finding the right ones. Great customer service”

“Travelodge are the same format wherever you go. It's the location which makes the visit. The Travelodge at Trowell is there in conjunction with the MOTORWAY Services for travellers who require comfort stops, food drink etc.”

“We went to look at wardrobes. We were greeted by someone called Dawn who pointed us to where they were in the store. Dawn spoke to us about different styles, sizes, prices and delivery time. We didn't feel pressurised by your typical sales person. We bought a wardrobe thanks to Dawn's personal care.”

“The hotel is ideally situated and you can easily drive / get uber into town. There is also the Riverside pub next door . Staff are extremely helpful especially the manager - Alex . Early check ins can be booked and are worthwhile.”

“The hotel on first thoughts doesn’t look amazing. The lift stank of cigarettes and the carpet looks a bit worse for wear. Check in was effortless and the room was spotless, possibly one of the cleanest travelodge rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The food was disgusting. The portion sizes were dismal and the food was 100% microwaved there are plenty of other restaurants nearby such as maccies, kfc & nandos.Overall, I would recommend and would stay here again.”
