Absolutely disgusted in the customer service given today when visiting Refresh cafe in Arnold. I?ve visited this cafe a few times before and have enjoyed thier breakfast menu but after today I will never go again!!Me and my friend ordered a coffee, panini and a jacket potato for our 6 year old girls. Firstly our latee came out with with lumps on top, which we thought might of been curdled milk, when the lady came out with food we asked if we could leave the coffee and have a refund which the server agreed and said she understood why..Then in my daughters jacket potato I noticed what looks like curly hair running threw the beans, when the boss came out with the rest of the food she asked what was wrong with the coffee which I explained and showed her my daughter jacket potato which she replied ?that?s not hair, that?s from the cleaning scourer? I told her I can?t give that my daughter and before I could ask for something else instead she?s picked up all the food, and said ?I will give you a refund for everything, can you leave?I can understand if we was rude about the situation, but we wasn?t. Even tho the panini barely had any cheese and onion on, we was hungry and was happy to eat it but didn?t have a choice as she took all the food away. My friend didn?t even have chance to look at hers and her daughters food before she rudely took the food and asked us to leave!When she came out with the money, I asked her why she?s took all the food and what she was implying? her response was ?I?ve had customers all morning and no complaints, here?s your refund and just leave? i took a picture of the coffee, I told her she was very rude, and I will be leaving a review to warn others and left!I won?t be going back there and advise others to avoid! I just don?t understand why she was so rude over her own mistake, she could of easily replaced the food but instead gave us a refund we didn?t ask for.. in hindsight It was probably best we was given a refund instead of becoming sick off the food!

Mega breakfast was lovely. Piping hot and good value for money. Staff were friendly and efficient. Compliments to the chef. I will definitely return.

Had a lovely mega breakfast, very reasonable price. Exactly what you would expect for a good cafe. Looked at the whole menu and nothing on it for over £6! Good selection of sausage / bacon etc. cobs at affordable price. will be back to try some soon!

A good community feel. Very welcoming.and friendly.traditional foods cakes and snackKid-friendliness: Always has kids menu prices, in the holidays also ice cream machine in the summer months.Parking: Free parking for 2 hours free .but can pay if u need longer.Wheelchair accessibility: The manager and staff will always find space for wheel chairs.and push chairs.also outside seating,

Great menu served by lovely people, they make the most of the room they have and with the outside option if weather allows. Food has always been on point and great prices for the centre of Arnold ??
