Customer service is nonexistent with Trailfinders. After several issues at the end of our trip (that cost us over £10,000) all the helpline team have told us to do is to rebook flights and hotels ourselves.Why did we book with Trailfinders with assurances that their team are there to assist with any problems?

This review is only one star because it's not possible to go lower. We booked a £10000 honeymoon trip with those people. A trip through South East Asia with extra leisure days added at a beach location recommended by our agent. AN EXPERT in the region. What the agent failed to mention is that it's the middle of a monsoon season in this area. So far we've been freezing in the north and now we're getting soaking wet in Hoi An. With 3 more days left to enjoy this particularly SPECTACULAR beach location in Vietnam. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. You will feature in our recommendations forevermore ?This is a new development in our journey. And no, sadly it's not a joke. We were not allowed on the flight yesterday. The booking was wrong and the airport staff couldn't check us in. The booking was made from a wrong airport! An airport that is no longer in use. A SHUT DOWN airport. The local travel agent stubbornly kept sending the invalid ticket information assuring us there is no problem despite the airport staff telling them otherwise.We were in communication with both: Trailfinders and Exo travel ( Trailfinders ' local partners) for an hour! While being urged by the airport staff to sort it because the check-in is closing. In the end we were told ( by both agents!) to just purchase another ticket ourselves...by that time the check-in closed and we missed the flight. We were booked onto an evening flight instead. We have missed our final day of shopping in Bangkok and a dinner show ( nonrefundable) we booked to finish off our honeymoon experience.And after all of this, the car did not show up to take us to Bangkok airport for the return flight! So we had to pay for a taxi.Hi again, this is a rollin review as we are still traveling and it's not getting better.Another day another TRAILFINDERS disaster!Our last flight got cancelled. Again, no support from the agent. Just book yourselves into a hotel they said. Once again left to sort out the travel issues ourselves!All Trailfinders did so far was shirk responsibility , instruct us to deal with issues ourselves and pay extra costs out of our own pocket. This sums up Trailfinders customer service up to this point. We are still in transit...so Watch this space.

We were after booking a holiday to a far-off destination that we have never been to, so we needed some expert advice. We spoke to David who was brilliant, full of knowledge, and not pushy. We are eternally grateful to David for not selling us a holiday, but helping us to choose one, which he tailor-made to our desire. David is a credit to the company. I can recommend Trailfinders, we will definitely book with them again.

Our experience started very well, the original booking and pre travel information was excellent. We were booking a trip to the USA and a tour of the eastern seaboard.We were booked in to 5 hotels from Chicago to Boston. Two of the hotels were unaware of the prepaid booking and took payment from our credit card, and one hotel was closed for refurbishment. Whilst we were found an alternative room, and our credit cards refunded, having to call the emergency help desk three times for booking?s in North America is a little concerning.We have had a response from the complaints department, there was no information regarding root cause.We did have a marvellous trip, and chose Trailfinders to remove the hassle from the arrangements. On reflection, booking ourselves, and having confirmation from the hotels may have been a better option.

We have used Trailfinders in Nottingham on a number of occasions, and each time we have been impressed with the service provided. The team there are friendly with great knowledge of various destinations and are able to offer really useful advice, especially (we?ve found) when you?re trying to pull together trips that involve coordinating various hotels in different locations/cities/countries, excursions, hire cars and flights. We have always felt very well looked after and we would certainly use them again in future. Highly recommended!

After a follow up call from the store manager, I have altered this review somewhat. It was pleasing to hear that the mistake the original booking agent made was acknowledged; however, the rudeness the other agent in the Nottingham store showed is still completely unacceptable. The way she spoke to me was extremely unprofessional, especially given the fact I simply spotted an error that her colleague had made/a mistake that would have caused much disruption to our holiday had I not spotted it. The same agent also assured me she had booked a different hotel which offered a nights stay for free, but then flatly denied this to her duty manager.

Helpful staff and welcoming atmosphere when booking a holiday. Would advise to go early to avoid crowds and if ringing, expect a slight wait. That aside, would recommend this branch

Not what they used to be a few years ago . Some prices OK sometimes expensive. Very difficult to contact by phone and itinerary difficult to print off
