Very low quality lenses. I?ve bought glasses from elsewhere for 15 years, all of which I?ve had no issues with despite wearing them daily for 2-3 years. The £430 pair from Vision Express have lasted just 11 months. Their advice was to buy another pair, because now I?d get free insurance and this wouldn?t be an issue (convenient?coincidence?) - poor service and poor quality product from a brand who profess to lead the way in customer service and care/quality.

Actual eye test seemed ok if a little brief compared to previous tests st an independent optician. However after purchasing glasses the service has been abysmal. On return from my holiday 3 weeks after placing order glasses still aren?t ready because they failed ?quality control ? and have to be remade. I only found this out because I chased the store. They were unable to contact me because my email had been deleted! But they had my phone number! Glasses won?t be ready until 21st even though the problem ?appeared? on the 7th so I?m without them for my weekend break. If I?m honest I?m not impressed and won?t be using the store again and depending on how things go on Tuesday am considering cancelling order and asking for a full refund

From start to finish was not stressful. Had an amazing lady called Carol who helped me to choose my glasses. Was very patient with me as I had no clue what style I wanted

Needed to speak to them on the phone urgently. Waited 40 mins. My call was evidently not important to them.Eventually spoke to someone who sounded more annoyed than anything.If this is a sign of how they treat customers, this shop must be atrocious to deal with.I ended up cancelling my appointment and will use a different optician.

Express they're not, been waiting 2 weeks for my wifes reading glasses and still not got them. Also they tried selling us items we didn't need. Won't be going to Vision "Express" again. Complete con.

Having usually used Specsavers I went here for a change. Immediately i felt it wasn't a very welcoming place. Whilst choosing frames for my glasses I witnessed one of the workers sniggering at me to another colleague because i remarked that all the frames were very similar and did not suit me whilst I was browsing. There seemed to be a rush to get me to choose a frame and i felt very pressured by the guy. The payment plan to spread the cost was not offered to me even though the optician herself mentioned it, the guy on the shop floor didn't so I paid in full, which is not good if you're on a budget.On collection of the designer Palazzo glasses they were presented in a Vision Express snap shut old man's black case, which I wasn't happy about so I was asked to choose between two other cases which weren't very nice either and used but reluctantly I chose one and left. Very disappointed that the case wasn't shown to me beforehand as I would have chosen a different brand. I won't ever shop here again because of the bad service from everyone except the optometrist/optician and the lady I collected the glasses from. Eye care is not a laughing matter and people who wear glasses should not be ridiculed for being particular about what they want, after all it's a lot of money to be shelling out when you are paying for varifocals and to have someone who appears to polish glasses for a living laughing about it is very unprofessional.

Very nice staff, both from the optometrist and the sales team, answered all my questions clearly and saw me in good time on a busy Saturday. Really good service!

First point I searched the internet and, as normal, what I liked is not available at the shop. The pair I choose were put aside and when I came to finalize the purchase no one knew were they were. The billing left me puzzled and like my vision unclear. All in all the service was acceptable but seemed a little loose and disconnected. For the price of the frames the final bill seemed high. Could not make out if I had been charged for the test which I thought for me was free. Will go again.
