Checked website for opening hours Saturday 26th August and it said 3.00pm.arrived just before 2pm. Shut. Opening hours notice on window said 1pm. Not happy.

Went in to get some 50ps for my collection and was told that I would need to pay extra to do that? I already had an account with them? After asking why I had to pay extra when I never had to in the past, they said I could be lying to them and that I could be there to collect coins for a business. They said that I could have stated that it was personal and not for a business so the company can get out of paying extra money for certain coins. I assured them that wasn?t the case and it wasn?t for a business and that it was personal and they continued to state that I could be lying. Finally giving in they gave me the coins and I left with all sorts of negative feelings. Terrible customer service. I see where you?re coming from but you can?t just handle a situation that way. Totally rude. Won?t be getting anything from your branch anymore. Never had any issue in the past with other employees. They would ask if it?s personal or for a business and I would say personal and they would say ok and that would be that. Never would they call me a liar so I?m not sure why that time was different

If only zero stars was an option.I went to Lloyds at Sutton in Ashfield today to open a savings account for myself. I had all my ID documents with me.The cashier looked at me as if I was an alien when I asked to open an account. I was then told I'd need an appointment with the guy who opened accounts and I was asked "Is there any time convenient for you?" When I replied that now was convenient as I was there with all my documents I could see the bewilderment in the cashier's eyes.The cashier then asked the guy who opens accounts if he had any time available now to help me. Bearing in mind that the conversation took place right in front of me, I was stunned to hear "No, I'm going to lunch now, book him in for next Wednesday or Thursday".When I said that I wasn't available next Wednesday or Thursday the cashier suggested I opened my account online. I'd then "just need to bring my ID documents to the branch and the account would be opened". I said I'd do that, but as I was stood there with my ID documents, could they verify and copy them there and then and I'd complete the application online later today. I was told that wasn't possible and I'd need to return to the branch at my inconvenience.It could have been a video of how NOT to treat customers on a customer care course. Needless to say my money will be heading into a different bank.

I had a unusual problem this morning with my bank account, due to a misunderstanding. Kevin the Bank Manager was very efficient in dealing with my problem, he was very helpful and understanding in relation to my difficult circumstances and went the extra mile to resolve my problem. I will make this branch my go to branch in the future. Thank you Kevin!

As usual excellent service. COVID management excellent with Richard on the door directing customers. My problem/query answered perfectly by young girl on till today ( Monday 30th Nov) regarding an Amazon pending transaction worry. Able to go home and resolve within minutes. Thank you.
