Came in with my wife and 7month old son looking to purchase a new carpet for our front room and dining room and potentially the rest of the houseWe walked in and could see the sales representative sat in his chair scrolling through his phoneHe didn't bother to look up to acknowledge or interact with me or my wifeAfter a few minutes he asked what were we looking for ( didn't even lift his head to look at us when he asked eyes were stuck to his phone )I said we are trying to match up a carpet as best we canHe just said ahhh alright (one again still didn't even look at us still scrolling through his phone )I decided there and then I'll take my business elsewhere and left the storeWe went to Wilson carpets in Doncaster where we were greeted and shown around and given different optionsThey are coming to measure up so they can give us an accurate quoteWe wil definitely not be spending our money at carpetright I can assure you of thatI suggest you ensure your staff understand the importance of 1st impressions and how to interact with customers as I can assure you now the gent in branch today 4/6/23 has no place in a sales based environment
