Well efficient post office.The staff here are really nice, they try there absolute best and go out there way to help you.The other reviews on here are just one off bad experiences, because I never get this service ever.

Closed on Tuesday morning (5 Sept). Opening at 2pm - WHY? Rubbish service and communication.Wonder why less people are using them? They don?t need to look far.

Went to what is laughingly Banburys Main Post office and the first thing the staff did was post a notice saying they were closing at 2.00 pm due to staff shortages REALLY !The staff had no idea what she was doing and I came away without being able to do anything ! this place is pathetic and a disgrace to Banbury.

Standing at self service for someone to press a button for 30 minutes so far i wonder how much longer il be standing here waiting to be acknowledged. Ridiculous.

I just visited the Post office in Castle Quay to post a package. There were barriers up to stop customers going up to the tills, so I stood there patiently till a scowling woman came up to me and said " shut for lunch for an hour" and turned round and walked off.Bad attitude bad customer service , is it so hard to maybe smile or even not being so blunt and dismissive , it's a good job I've got thick skin could see others being a bit more offended.Have a nice day.

lady assisting me was so unfriendly with a bad attitude and rolling her eyes all because i wasnt sure what i was doing . don't work there if you don't like it there.. I was so uncomfortable as if I got free service honestly if I would give zero stars I would.

Zero stars. Absolutely appalling, went in a couple of minutes after 3pm this week to be told they had just closed. Went back the next day earlier and was told they couldn't serve me because they were closing at 2pm (it was 1.50, so technically I still had 10 mins) and to come back at 3pm...the time I'd tried the previous day! The self-service stations, which I would have been happy to use, were also closed, presumably because of a lack of staff (which surely defeats the point of having them) and the opening times, whether on Google or in-store are not the times they abide by. I can accept spending a bit of time queuing within reason, I can't accept making wasted trips into Banbury, thinking they'll be open when they're not. Easily the most inefficient and poorly run post office I've ever had to use. Avoid if possible.

A ridiculously small and inefficient post office for a town the size of Banbury. Be prepared to burn your parking hour waiting in a queue for desks staffed by only one or two people.

If I could give zero stars I would. Awful service as it is inadequately staffed. Pot luck opening which bears no resemblance to the ridiculous times advertised. I've had three failed attempts to get my passport validated (requested by the PO)! Frustratingly wasted time and money on parking. Shameful and appalling service for a main town facility.

This is a jock why is the only post office in town closed on Monday and open only till 2pm twice a week, till 4 the rest of the time. Lunch hour the queue is 20 person long with one till working at the time

I asked the member of staff about the driving license photo update form. I was pointed to the right envelope. At no point staff informed that Post Office can offer package for DL photo renewal for £21.50. I ended up paying over £30 for processing the update. Why? Do the staff know the services they offer? That should be the basic start of conversation after asking for DL photo update.
