No care for the customer at all. None of the staff made sure I had understood anything. The optician in particular advised I had a certain condition, but dismissed my worries by saying it would be discussed at the end of the test. This meant I spent the majority of the test worrying which when I mentioned was disregarded. I felt that my concerns were not met at all. Nothing was said about how the condition will progress, affect my vision or mental well being. It was as if the optician sees this condition regularly so what did I need to know about it. The optician also first told me my right eye had got very much worse when I had my right eye covered. This again was worrying and when I asked how this could be the optician meant the left eye.My questions were not adequately answered and there was no empathy shown at all.The optician then discussed my condition in a dismissive manner and told me to start taking some recommended supplements not outlining how they are to be taken. For all I knew they where drops but no they are tablets but no instructions on do I chew them or swallow whole. Them the dispenser saw I was upset and kept telling me I?m okay when I obviously wasn?t. No after care or what to expect in the future. Really just left to cope myself. I went home very very distressed mostly owing to the attitude of the staff. Boots opticians used to be far more caring than this. I am extremely disappointed.

Had a eye test done last Sunday in Bicester at Boots and I was very impressed. The staff clearly enjoying what they do and then super impressed with the optometrist Raj, she was great very informative and so professional. Thank you Boots Optician Bicester

All staff were very helpful from start to finish. The optician explained clearly my eye health. Clear advice were given.Georgina was particularly helpful. She was very patient with me when I was choosing my glasses and very understanding of my needs. She also offered her professional recommendations, she?s very knowledgeable and really impressed with her customer service. Even when I had to go back to ask about my prescription and the Verilux prescription, she took the time to check throughly.This is my third time ordering my glasses from them and they never fail to put their customers first. That?s why I?m a loyal customer.Thank you!!

Got an appointment very quickly, the staff in the store are very friendly and knowledgeable. The Team doing the eye and eye health check were excellent. Very modern equipment as well.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. I was a little bit late so I called to let them know and they were happy to wait for me to arrive. They provided really helpful advice and replaced my contact lenses with an up to date prescription with no issues at all.

We had a rude experience at Boots optician in Bicester, we made an appointment prior to visiting the store for my son's eyes test for contact lenses. Georgina Gidbourne told us that they will decide to allow my son to have the contact lenses or not with a rude tone? I wonder if she is the optometrist to make the call or because she treats us differently ( rudely ) because we are Asian?? Questions: is it normal to treat or talk to the customers this way or is there a different standard for different nationalities! Totally unacceptable and disgraceful, never dare to enter BOOTS.

Please can I request that Georgina Gisbourne is rewarded, recognised and appreciated to the highest level possible.Today I visited boots in the hope to find some new lenses. I was very unsure on what I was looking for.The second that I entered the shop, Georgina greeted me with a smile and took the time to sit down and talk me through the different lenses, frames, prices and what the lenses I was prescribed will do for me.Georgina have me the space and time to make my decision on the choice of frames and made me aware of where she will be if I was to need any help.I have been to Specsavers many times and found the staff to be very cold and lacking manners, however due to the warm, helpful approach that Georgina gave, I will be recommending friends and family to visit her as the journey from Milton Keynes was 100% worth travelling for.I walked away from my visit to Boots, Bicester opticians very happy and satisfied with the service I received, and hope that this review reaches the right person, to make Georgina recognised and praised.
