Breakfast bap was overpriced and disappointing. To be honest I'd have still been disappointed at half the price.

I wish they would be honest about when the business called Huffkins was started, it was in 1955 miss Sylvia Grey opened the first tea room food supplied by the Baytree Hotel kitchen at the back of the premises. My late grandmother and my mother used to meet there for tea shortly after it opened (both long term Fulbrook residents).

Famous for it's cream teas and cakes Huffkins is well known in the Cotswolds and even has a restaurant in John Lewis in Cheltenham! The picture is of a Cotswold cream tea. Which is, by their standards a modest version of their cream tea featuring a sandwich of your choice, scones and cream and jam and a pot of tea. All at a reasonable price.Their celebration afternoon tea is impressive and if you fancy it, it's probably worth booking.I'd suggest not eating for the whole day before you go because it's enormous! This restaurant in Burford is perfectly fine, but like most of the shops in Burford, you can't help but think they are more geared towards tourists than locals. It's perfectly pleasant, but lacks a bit of soul.

I came here to enjoy British scones.I ordered a cream tea and a single drink to share with my husband, but the cream tea came in a set of two. I gave up changing it because I don't understand English, but it was very delicious.

It was a lovely afternoon tea. The Huffkins team was attentive and kind. The food was delicious and well balanced. We enjoyed it very much and would go back!

The coffee was awful. We had a cappuccino each and it tasted like long life milk was used and it was far too milky. I couldn't drink it.

Stupidly expensive for the level of service. At that cost, you'd think they could afford to heat the place and have more than one member of staff.

The best high tea we?ve had in the UK! We only had the small set this time as we were not very hungry.

Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning.Greeted well and ordered at the counter as requested. We expected to pay more than other places, that's fine, it wasn't a surprise. However, the quality of food was appalling. Sausage and hash brown was like something from a back street burger van. Very greasy bacon and over cooked poached egg.Tea cup had lipstick on it, which isn't the end of the world, these things happen.Food took quite a while to arrive which isn't a huge issue, but when linked with the shockingly poor quality food, and dirty cup, this place was really really poor.I don't doubt other reviews about this place, but I will never eat at this place again.
