Excellent find a little way out of Henley. Great atmosphere, popular with walkers, but best of all is the food! Extensive menu, catering for all dietary requirements, and also a great and sensibly priced sandwich menu. The ever friendly and very friendly Jordon talked us into the Seafood linguine which, quite honestly, I could come back for every evening! The other winner was the Stroganoff! Thanks Jordon!

Didn?t get to experience the pub as it was closed at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon after having checked their website before walking for an hour to get there to find there was no notice to imply why it was closed. Very disappointed. I was going to book an anniversary dinner there for this week, but shall not be bothering to return. In my judgement, not a way to run a business.

This is a lovely place just on the outskirts of Henley. All the food was great and the staff worked hard to keep us happy

Lovely Sunday lunch, all three of us opted for the Steak and Kidney Pie, which was tasty and beautifully cooked; pastry was just right, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Clearly a chef who knows what he is doing! Add to that very happy and attentive staff, and a reasonable price (£103 for three, including a bottle of wine and service) - has to be a winner.

We went to the Maltsters Arms on a Friday evening with friends. We had booked although it wasn't particularly busy and so this may not have been needed. The service was friendly and the menu extensive with a number of classic dishes which were all home cooked. We had the scotch egg, lamb kofta and whitebait to start with which were all very good (although a bit more dip with the whitebait and kofta would have been good)! We then had the fish & chips, scampi & chips, chicken kyiv and seafood linguine for mains all of which were very good and the chips were home made. Although we were quite full we managed some desserts including the apple & cherry crumble, sticky toffee pudding and lemon meringue pie which all went down well. The total bill came to approx £180 including a bottle of wine, 2 bitter shandies, a non alcoholic drink with service for the 4 of us. We would happily return.

We attended the Traditional Boats Festival in Henley. The weather closing in. The idea of a soggy burger in the rain didn?t appeal. I did a search on Google Maps and found The Maltsters Arms. I rang. The phone was picked up quickly by a helpful and friendly young man. We booked and arrived 10 minutes later. The young front of house team were friendly, smiley and efficient. The food was very reasonably priced and good quality. Top Marks. It was a random pick that paid off. Thank you.

Lovely Sunday lunch for four of us, including 2 children. Food was great, children?s roast fantastic and service welcoming. Lovely to see this venue busy as it deserves to be successful

Eaten before at the Malsters and the food was excellent, for the second time I am wanting to return but cnnot book a table because you do not answer the phone or respond to the email address on your website. This is deeply annoying and inexcusable.

The Maltsters provided us with a buffet and space for our wake after a funeral service at The Henley Natural Burial site. They were welcoming, helpful and respectful throughout. The buffet, particularly the vegan options, were eaten with relish by meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans! It's a lovely pub, good parking for everyone and great outdoor tables and umbrellas which is where we all wanted to be on a sunny day. I can't thank them enough for being there on our special day, so near to the funeral site, so convenient for those of us from Wales, France and the otherside of London.

We went for a late lunch. They were really accommodating and cleared a table for us straight away. We both had the fish pie. It was the best fish pie I have ever eaten. Really delicious and absolutely enormous portion too. I will definitely go back.
