“Just off the ferry from Spain and we live in Cumbria, so we stopped here to break the journey for tomorrow as it was getting late. We're tired and check in by Ali was fast and efficient. Our breakfast and dinner needs were sorted immediately and we've just shared a really tasty pizza before bringing a glass of wine up to our room. Only one towel in the room which is a bit of a bug bear for me in Premier Inns. It happens every time. One towel for 2 occupancy. This was sorted by Ali though and we have been given ample towels to bring back up! Quick thanks to the young lady on the bar, think it was Louisa. Very helpful. Thanks”

“In the beginning I was put off by the prices. It's hard to make a comparison, but they might be like 20% or so higher than Tesco or Sainsbury's.However, eventually I became a regular customer, it's 100% worth speding that little extra!!First of all, tue quality of the products is much better, especially fruits and veggs. It's covid-19 safe, as there are very good cleaning protocols.Staff members are all incredebly professional, with a special mention to the main bakery lady, as she knows that I like the German Rye bread and as soon as she sees me, she prepares one for me. How sweet is this :))”

“I was so delighted the way I was served by the staff. Especially the one who offered assisting to carry my Henry hoover. He asked if I was driving, replied no I'm going to catch a bus. We went together to no 10 bus stop, offered him a tip, politely declined. It proved there are still genuine people in this world.”

“Nice place with cheap rate but no nearby bus stops over there.Bus travellers need to walk 15 mts and not suitable for old people to walk over here . Better options for cars.”

“Been using Iceland for a few yearsAnd I understand that they do the Over 60s on a Tuesday. I do not have a driving licence and I dont Have a bus pass as I'm only 62 and not 65.So i can't use the Over 60s discount on a Tuesday. As I still work I do not carry my passport on me every day. So I feel discriminated I must admit I've heard alot of people feel very disappointed with Iceland. Shame really”

“Another satisfactory experience, plenty of staff as usual quick through the tills. Shame more shops can't still manage this.Best thing is never seen any staff lost in their phone on the shop floor well done sainsbury's”

“They do have more expensive artisan-y products but if you shop carefully it is no more expensive than average. And generally a nicer experience because it's seldom very busy and well laid out.”

“Always been a great fan of Waitrose. Not been to London in a while. A bit sad to see Waitrose at the Gloucester Road arcade - the usual go to joint for everyday grocery needs - closed for refurbishment so it was a bit of an excitement to see Waitrose operating out on the motorway. Nothing out of the extraordinary it has to be said but even the limited varieties on offer at the motorway services is somewhat scintillating ☺️”

“This is the sort of grocery store that has things at affordable prices. The staff members are professional and laid back as if they were in the familiar surroundings of their own personal homes, yet they effectively get the job done. I have only been to the location once, but based upon that experience, I will be a regular customer for certain items. In today's economy, this is one of the few stores that i have shopped at that are (not) using the economical backlash said to be caused by the war crime being committed against the sovereignty of Ukraine as a justification to exploit its customers with inflated prices. (I am an American, and I have discovered that it is my duty to introduce Oxford to "Root Beer".)”

“It's a Waitrose, so you know what you are going to get. In other words, naughty (expensive) but nice. It's a big store, and surprisingly not busy, probably because of the closure of the Botley Road, which will be closed for a long time for long term roadworks. Only accessable by car from the A34 I think.Free parking and you can tell It's posh, as you don't have to pay the usual £1 deposit for a trolley.”

“A little difficult to get around if you have to use cruches or a stick as there was a lot of stock on the floor. They have a good range of products at a reasonable price.”

“Sainsbury,s is a brilliant store, but the Gents toilets are in a bad state of repair, and the smell of urine is overwhelming. Come on, Sainsburys, sort this out please.”

“A truly epic Lidl experience can be had at this store. Not only does it have all the aspects that make Lidl a great supermarket compared to others but it also lacks the worst aspect of other Lidl stores: the long checkout queues. This store has self service machines so there's no need to queue for ages at the end of your shop to pay. Great store to pick up a weekly shop in.”

“A shop packed with all the essentials. Staff were friendly. Decent prices. Conveniently located in rural village. Great place to stop to grab some supplies before you venture up the hill to the forest for a long walk around woods, or a walk to Oxford. Cycle track nearby is a great adventure.”

“It's okay-ish. Small shop with limited collections. But you get the basic needs. The guy at the counter is very nice. It's one of the blue co-ops. So the other co-op cards don't work here. You need a blue card to get the offers and they are available for 1£.”
