Got a pair of boots reheeled for £24 during uni term. Both heels came off within 24 hours, they replaced them (for free) and then they both came off AGAIN in less than a day! Took boots back home to my local cobbler, they heeled them for half the price with no problems. Would not recommend.

Avoid for key cutting. I got a key cut here and it didn't work. I went back, they re-cut it, and - the second one doesn't work either. I gave up and decided to eat the £10.I know it's not the lock or the key because I went to Extra Electrical afterwards and the key *they* cut worked just fine. And was cheaper to boot.

Overpriced. I needed a CR1620 battery - the small circular type used for e.g., car key fobs. Timpson was the only shop in the immediate area that had one. They charged £6.20 for a single battery (or two for £10.00!). The price on Amazon for a pack of five is £3.99. 80 pence on Amazon plays £6.20 at Timpson??! Draw your own conclusion.

Great service from a really personable and friendly member of staff. Fixed my watch within minutes and was able to tell immediately what the problem was and charge a reasonable price. Have been here before and will go again.

Dropped off shoes half an hour before closing on Monday for reheeling, was advised they'd definitely be ready Wednesday but that if I was coming past around same time on the Tuesday would be worth popping in. Went in at 4 on the Tuesday and they were ready!! Brilliant job, quality repair and friendly staff!

Saw a lot of reviews saying the customer service wasn?t great here.I went here on a Saturday and the guy fixed my watch in 20 minutes, was polite, professional and obviously knew his stuff. Would highly recommend.

Terrible customer service. I cannot comment on the quality of the work but when I dropped off my shoes, I made sure to explicitly ask whether I would need anything when I returned and they just took my name. When I returned to pick up my shoes the next day, I was told that I should've been given a ticket and because I wasn't, the staff member was unable to help me. As he was working alone, he said he couldn't find my shoes and I'd have to return another day.

Had some keys cut and they didn't work at all, when comparing the keys they were completely different lengths - I also had a watch hole made which was off centre and completely ruined my £50 watch strap
