I only go in this branch of the coop if I absolutely have to. The area manager really needs to take a look at the reviews and realise that Dawn needs some more customer service training. She is fake polite at best and then mutters about you after. Sometimes to other staff or customers. Every time I have to come to this shop and she is there, I leave feeling like her negative vibe has totally killed my mood. I thought it was personal, but reading all these reviews, it seems that most people have to tolerate her bad attitude.She hardly represents the community profile the coop try and create, especially when she is having yet another cigarette right outside the shop door. Sort it out coop and maybe you may see the return of the positive comments this store used to get 6+ years ago

Regarding Poor Customer Service on 12th October at 16:30Upon visiting the store to make a purchase, I was disappointed by the behaviour of one of your employees. Despite being in the process of paying for my items, the worker hurriedly called forth the next customer, neglecting my transaction. This rush and lack of consideration for my time and presence as a paying customer were deeply disheartening and unacceptable.I must emphasise that this incident significantly deviated from the typically positive experience I have had with the customer service at your store in the past. As a loyal customer, I value and appreciate the high standard of service your store usually provides. However, this unfortunate incident on the mentioned date left me with a negative impression and dissatisfied with my overall experience.I will think about shopping here in the future and urge those who may be anxious in environments to stay away.

This place regularly overcharges you for things that are clearly marked with the price. Its 5p or 10p or 20p every time so they hope you don't notice. When you return after realizing its wrong, they retort back things like "you want your 20p back..." as if I'm inconveniencing them - or when you check the till as they scan the items, you get condescending remarks thrown at you saying that they are doing the discounts even though you said nothing. Today the man at the counter had the cheek to direct me to the back of a queue that had formed in another place after I had already joined the queue. I noticed these people browsing the store previously and had not queued yet when I joined. Infuriating. Well screw that - I took my business elsewhere!

I did not have a detailed look on the product therefore could not comment about the product range and price. However, the female staff with short blonde hair and tattoo on her hand is rude with poor service. With no greeting, criticize what you carry to the shop and meaningless comment that is not relevant to the service. I did not say anything and just let her be. Not just me but I even heard she asked the customer behind me 'what do you want'.This is unprofessional and as other reviews regarding this lady, I believe there will be no change and you will see more and more comments on this staff' s miserable behaviour that destroy the shop image.

lady with short blonde hair is bare rude and shouldn?t have her job cant lie, no customer service what so ever if you close at 10 online you close at 10 don?t be rushing people out at 6 minutes to 5 minutes too recommend the other shop at the end of the street, always a horrible experience

At 1.15pm today, 21st September 2022, I left the shop with genuine concern for the staff that work there. They were clearly stressed, unhappy, and had very little interest in the work they do. Customer service was non existent. And this was not my first experience of this. It seems to be a similar experience everytime I go in. Today I acknowledged the negative atmosphere to the staff and they reacted defensively. The staff morale is the worst I have ever encountered

I come to this shop often because I live around there, and I must say everything in there is horrendous. The floor had a unbearable stench, the staff had zero customer service skills, most of them look depressed and inflict that depression on the customers. A few times when I went there and bought bread or ice cream and saw that there was fungus on the bread and the ice cream was melted and re freezed. I absolutely do not recommend even stepping in this store.The staff really need to get trained properly and taught general human manners.I literally have nothing good to say about this store?

Lady with short blonde hair and tattoos is extremely rude and should not have a job in a role where you are serving customers day to day. Absolutely no manners when communicating which I have experienced numerous times. After all these negative comments about her I'm shocked nothing has been done about this and she still remains as an employee. Us Headington locals are suffering because of her

This shop need to be shut. The smell in the shop kick the nose, lady assistant with short blond hair and tatooded is more often seen when smoking on the back of the shop than stand at the till and I think she need to be removed from any retail od Coop. She have unacceptable attitude to customers. In top of that she is very upset every time if there is peak of shoppers. This person need to be replaced for craative shop assistant ASAP.Reduced products never in reduced prices ( lazy to do this properly).

Not a great selection of products, but you could get your essentials. Overpriced products.The slushy machine is gone, such a shame. Staff need to be trained better on customer service skills. The place would benefit a make over to improve one's overall experience there. Good manners cost nothing. Being honest, I only go there when I need to. I do try to avoid it as much as possible.

I was spoken to rudely despite being in the the shop within hours (before 10). A male employee said "I dont get paid to be here after ten" and tried to kick me out.
