Good gym but one of the smith machines hasn?t been working for months, meaning only one is available so often waiting. For the money things like this should be sorted a bit quicker I think.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, always greeted with a smile! Well looked after facilities, always tidy and members also treat the gym and others with respect. Huge variety of classes and equipment. Josh at TFD therapy has gone above and beyond for myself and has genuinely improved my quality of life through physical therapy. Jo has been the most incredible PT and always finds a way to meet my needs and keep working out engaging and fun while helping me absolutely smash my health goals. You won't find a better gym!

The BEST gym in the area! There are closer gyms to me but I travel that bit further to get to tfd because it?s honestly such a wonderful gym. Anthea especially is amazing and gave me the confidence in just a few sessions to be lifting weights, something which I?d been nervous to try before I joined. All the tfd colleagues are super friendly and lovely and the equipment is more than what I need. I never feel I have to wait much for anything (although I do avoid evenings) and the classes I?ve tried have been brilliant too. I couldn?t recommend tfd more if you are looking for an inclusive & friendly gym in the area with a wide offering of equipment & classes.

Love this place, you always get a warm and welcoming atmosphere here.I think one of the things that sets TFD apart is its strong sense of community. The instructors and personal trainers(Lisa, Steffi, Kim, Sam, Anthea, Jo, Tabby, Alex and Elaine are the ones I had the pleasure to meet)are all incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and they are always happy to help you get the most out of their classes and in the gym.With its huge space, TFD is a pleasant place to workout and chill for a recovery session?Yes! It?s geared up with, sauna, steam room and infinity pool. So, whether you're looking for a high-intensity cardio workout or a relaxing yoga class, there?s always something for everyone.Overall, TFD is a top-notch Gym that offers everything you need to reach your fitness goals in a supportive and welcoming environment. I highly recommend a tour ?Thanks guys keep the fabulous community vibe going ????

Excellent sports massage therapy from Josh this evening. After experiencing some difficulty and pain in my left quadricep, Josh sat with me to discuss the type of pain, main muscles affected and factors impacting my recent experience. Following this, Josh provided excellent levels of attentiveness and support with massage therapy, acupuncture and relieving tension stretches and therapy. As a direct result, Josh has massively improved my level of discomfort and general flexibility and condition of my hip flexor and quadricep. Hugely impressed and looking forward to returning for future sports massages.

I got banned from the gym for training my friend and his brother. They thought I was doing a PT session and charged them money. I did not charge as they are my friends.I had previously had a conversation with the owner Lisa that said I could train people for practice as long as I didn't charge any money. However this conversation was a while back (2 years ish) and she seems to think she never said this to me even though I was training another friend for free for a while with no problems. This gave me the impression it was ok.Given this miscommunication (I thought it was ok to train my friends if not charging) and the fact I have been a member for years and years I would have thought I would have at least been given a warning. None was given to me.Instead Lisa was rude on call when she decided to ban me, accusing me of being dishonest and disrespectful when clearly there was just a miscommunication of the rules.I would have happily listened and stuck to the rules once understanding them. But Lisa was adamant from the beginning that I would disrespect her and her business by breaking the rules, with refusal to consider my point of view. Before this incident I have not had any issues. I feel completely disrespected and violated with the treatment I received.All other staff have been great. However Lisa specifically has always been unfriendly towards me and made me feel unwelcome in the gym.

If you have any injury and can?t seem to get rid of it Josh is THE man to see. I don?t care how far you are or what he?s worth the trip.I was dealing with a hamstring injury for a few months and couldn?t get rid of it to save my life. I visited Josh,told him my symptoms and instantly he was able to pin point the issue and was able to repair my leg. he even supplied greats exercises to rehab my leg in the mean time and they?re working. After 1 session I felt like a brand new person. The follow up session even bettered my leg.Anything in the future that may unfortunately happen I can trust Josh to get me right back.No I?m not a paid writer. Just trust me bro

The atmosphere is really good at Tfd and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the equipment is hit and miss, with some in dire need of replacement. The general availability of basic items is lacking and some of the machines aren't fit for purpose.It's a good space, and so doesn't feel crowded even when busy. But I need the equipment to be up to scratch, especially if I'm spending double what it costs to go to a PureGym or similar.I've allowed my membership to lapse.

Another great morning spent at my favourite place! Started with a friendly morning greeting from Tabby and Jo? then onto a core class, cheeky coffee, dynamic pump class, Pilates class, a relaxing steam and sauna and finally a lovely shower? Phew! ?My PT-Jo Davies is amazing, offering inspiring, fun classes as well as keeping me motivated with regular body composition consultations? never felt so good!?Thank you to all the brilliant TFD team? led by a great boss!? Best thing I ever did was becoming a member!???

Wonderful place to reach goals, feel a sense of community and feel welcome every time you work out. A space for everyone to find their own ?thing?. In particular the new Power Pilates class is outstanding and Fran is such a great instructor. I would highly recommend TFD on all levels.

This is the best gym of choice within Wantage, however this gym would be in serious danger if easy gym, pure gym or gym group open up nearby.They do not open 24 hours for one, so many times i got home from work and i only had an hour (if that to train) so limited flexibility.The weights are old (and dangerous) the amount of times i?d been pulling a weight overhead and seen it wobbling was worrying, despite a comment further down they were waiting for new weights a year ago this still hasn?t happened.The pool is ok, but very shallow making it difficult to take full advantage of.Lastly i?ve seen multiple times the owner bring his dogs onto the gym floor and more than one occasion seen weights fall from equipment near the dogs. It won?t take long until someone either trips or a weight falls on one of them and its especially off putting trying to bench when a dog starts to sniff you .I will say the staff are extremely friendly and always smile and say hello.Overall the price is a bit steep for whats on offer when you consider other gym providers.
