It's okay! Sometimes used prices can be more expensive than brand new (eg. video games), but can find some good deals. Repairs seems to be expensive and if a console comes with a broken controller you have to bring the console back too ????

Good selection with great prices, although took a while to buy all of my items which is why I have rated it 4 stars. Other than that great all around

yet again disappointed with a macbook purchase they say they test things to give more warranty but how can they when they are selling products that dont work from slow workers that dont have the proper training to managers that think they can speak quiet enought that people wont hear them to get the customer to come back tomorrow as they need to restore the computer and have 2 different prices on 1 product the staff serving saying the cheaper price was for another computer and gets you to pay the higher price ( cheaper isnt always better but in this case i should have gone with ebay for the small price difference) never again cex you had your last chance with me

need to update their inventory as what's on their website isn't necessarily what they have in store

Good store with a decent selection. Items have been tested to operate as expected and can be trusted, which is reflected in the slightly higher prices than you expect in a secondhand store. They're lovely staff, but the place is always without failure insanely busy at the weekend and evenings, last visit I queued for over 35 minutes to buy a game! There really should be separate lines for those buying and selling.

I have to agree with other customers like a Thomas as I had the same issue with shocking and rude customer service from 2 ladies who refused to take my iPhone for testing as I did not have passport although I shave a membership! I told them I was coming back next day with passport when the test would be complete and they refused! I asked for an appointment and they also refused as I did not have id! I mentioned I would bring it the day of appointment and they. Said the needed it to book it!next day I visited Glasgow store with passport and the guys there tested and bough the phone without showing my passport as they located my membership!! Shocking lazy rude I amNot coming back and I am a customer for years ! Please train those 2 ladies who are disrespectful otherwise I can see more negative reviews and you loosing more customers ! I felt that they discriminated against me by making up procedures which were not true based on my experience in Glasgow store

My review is based on selling and buying. I thought I'd sell some random GoPro accessories at cex to see how well it went. I left the items to be checked and then came back a short while later. When I came back to confirm how much I could be paid for my items the cashier said to confirm your selling a gopro which I corrected him and said no GoPro accessories (which I had just left there). He seemed slightly annoyed (probably as he made a mistake) but that's not a professional way to act. The 2nd time I went was to buy a brand new game. I got in the queue and quickly realised I was in the line for selling and the line for buying was empty, only me. I waited close to 10min to be served as I watched the line for those selling items get shorter. It appears cex cares more about given money out then accepting it. The interior of the shop feels a bit gloomy and has a back alley vibe. Overall I think if you want to get rid of something and get some cash its a good option, if you want best value for your item then no.

Came in to get my dodgy phone battery fixed after less than 1 year of use and got it for £300 and I had a receipt aswell, and they said to leave it with them and it will be fixed in an hour and I come back and they decided not to fix it because of a minor crack at the back of the phone. And instead handed me it back and said the warranty is no longer active because of a small crack, when I only wanted the battery sorted. They handed me it back and didn?t give any advice. PS the phone had ghost touch issues right from the start. Unprofessional and a waste of my money and time.

Painfully slow customer service and some of the employees are ridiculously fussy when it comes to accepting discs and will refuse anything that isn?t in practically mint condition. They pay way less than what you can get by selling on eBay, but they?re also 10x more picky.

Good products for good prices.Need to work on the queue times. If someone is selling a lot of items, it takes up a lot of time at the till. I had to wait for 30 minutes to pay for a DVD.Overall it's good value for money and would go back.

Great company, in-store or online. Has a limited selection of accessories (such as graphics cards and other computer parts) in-store, but an amazing selection online. The games selection in store is amazing though, much more than GAME.The best part is that it's environmentally friendly as you can trade games in for cash or a voucher. The profit you receive from it is not at all exciting though. I think all their games are used, but in top-notch quality with specific standards. All of the stuff you trade in has to be inspected and tested, which I suppose is good. It's a great store to get things at an amazing price in excellent condition, but selling some things will not give you that much money, so popping it up on eBay will be your best bet.
