“Always people with trolleys filled to the brim and not enough staff on tills for those of us with one or two items to buy. They usually call for extra staff though.I wish people would stop squeezing loaves and shoving them back, seeing where the freshest ones are? I'm sure they are all the same.Always biddies...squashing squeezing fruit a veg! Leave the stock alone!”

“Great shop, it has a clean open feel about it, the chiller units keep the soft vegetables, meat and fish fresh, the same goes for the dairy produce. It has a good variety of wines and spirits, not well known brand names but excellent all the same. Check out staff are polite and friendly. I enjoy shopping these for my essentials.”

“The store is wonderful and they have a wide variety of items. There is also a small restaurant upstairs, the food we got was all made fresh. Generous portions with affordable price. Would highly recommend anyone to give it a visit. The owner of the store is incredibly nice and friendly.”

“Excellent convenience store, chap that works there most of the time is super nice, as are the part time staff. Prices are competitive - nothing is over priced. Sure you expect it to be a little more expensive than ASDA but not overly so. Shop deserves the support of the community.”

“This place is excellent in terms of atmosphere, location and weather. There are some things that I do not support, like selling alcoholic beverages that harm people and are forbidden in all monotheistic religions.”

“Good experience buying African foodstuff there, quite cheaper compared with some other places I've been to. Only downside is them not picking calls and not returning back your calls, that's very bad for a business person”

“It's Lidl. Is like Aldi. I prefer Lidl as they have potato salad similar to when I lived in Germany. Just like Aldi, don't expect friendliness from staff, although today my till operator did say good-bye in a gruff voice, deadpan, too!”

“I went there looking to fill up my freezer, I don't want to go shopping every week for food. You can find enough food there for £1 to fill the freezer for a couple of weeks so I don't need to shop every day. Thank you.”

“Great store 5* except coffee shop now disappeared - sadly missed! Also no toilet for disabled again makes life very difficult for those who live locally and far away to shop comfortably. Some staff go out of their way to make the customer’s experience a good one. Helpful over and above.”

“Use Lidl often. They have competitive prices produce and their own brands aren’t that much different to named brands if truth be told and at a fraction of the price which helps greatly in these difficult times.Of course you can get bargains elsewhere but I find lidl a great place to top up my weekly shop and save money.Checkout is always crowded as no self checkouts or scanning available but small price to pay for the low total charged on your goods if you are not influenced by named brands.Overall recommend.”

“Well stocked, laid out and clean. Sufficient size to practice good social distancing. The store was quiet so there were no queues.Only staff member I saw was the guy who served me, he was friendly and helpful. My only comment is that this store doesn't stock as much fresh/chilled produce or have as broad a bakery range as some, seems to be more focus on shelf produce.”
