I found checkpoint very good, the service they provided was excellent nothing was to much for them, there knowledge was extensive, Callum the owner and his team really new there stuff and managed to rectify all my BMWs problems .I would recommend there services to all, I would definitely use them again in the future.Thanks Callum &his teamDerrickService: Wheel alignment

Our car went into this garage for a second time, and for the second time it was in for weeks, leaving us without a car. I appreciate that deliveries are delayed at the moment however the car was in for over 3 weeks, and when we got it back it still wasn?t fixed and had to go in again, costing another £200 because it hadn?t been properly checked in the first place. We were then told that we?d only been charged for a couple of hours Labour instead of the full amount, as if we should be grateful when they should have done the job properly the first time. When we asked about a courtesy car we were made to feel very uncomfortable and told we?d have to sort out insurance ourselves. Below par service compared to other garages. Definitely wouldn?t recommend and won?t be going back.

I stupidly let my MoT lapse and realised only when it was pointed out. Not being from around these parts and keen to keep on the right side of the law I called callum after a quick Google search. He tried to arrange a test then and there but it was more suitable for me the next day.The car unfortunately failed and it required a couple of phone calls by callum to source the parts needed for the repair and to allow me a test certificate. He was aware of my limited time in Arbroath and had the work completed by the end of the day. Also, I felt confident enough to have some advisory work completed at the same time. Great effort and would certainly recommend. I read some poor reviews from customers, blaming Checkpoint Garage but reading the replies it would seem it was their failings not the garage. My personal opinion is I would highly recommend Checkpoint Garage. Thanks guys.et my MoT run out and needed it done

Calum and the team have fixed the car the main dealer couldn't.Shortly after purchasing a used car from a main dealer it developed an engine fault which illuminated the Engine Management Light and restricted the cars performance. After 3 weeks and 4 attempts to repair the car I decided to give Checkpoint Garage a call and after being told "we like a challenge" I collected it from the dealer and dropped it off at Checkpoint Garage.The embarrassing thing for the main dealer is Checkpoint Garage made it look easy and within a matter of hours after dropping the car off, they had diagnosed the fault, confirmed it with a test drive and sent through a quote for approval.The replacement part was installed when it was delivered the following day and the car made ready to collect.We have driven the car now for a week without issue and can't thank Checkpoint Garage enough. I'm considering sending the contact details of Checkpoint Garage to the dealer just incase they need to repair anything in the future.I will definitely continue to recommend Checkpoint Garage for any and all mechanical repairs.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Recommended to my wife by my son who had his Polo Gti serviced here. Booked the wife's Z4 in for a full service. Good friendly service when I handed the keys over. Car was finished on time and when we went to collect it all the work done was explained in full including correcting the previous work that was supposedly done at other garages. Very pleased with the quality and professionalism we received all at a very reasonable price. Thanks.
