Watch what you wear when using this post office - apparently a woman wearing a face covering (during a pandemic) and a hoodie is enough to make the staff feel ?threatened.? Imagine policing how women dress in 2022. I have often found the staff standoffish and snobby in the past, I definitely won?t be using this post office in the future now.

The most incompetent and rude assistant ever. She confidently told me no one in the UK can certify my ID document without a form from the business requiring the certification!! Very rudely told me off, when I explained the business is in South Africa and therefore they can't give me a certification application form. I went to Cosham Post Office, they immediately gave me the form. I completed it and the whole transaction was done in 3 minutes. The lady at Cosham could not believe it when I told her about my upsetting experience at Allaway. Very, very poor customer service indeed.

Post office and local shop with cash machine (inside). Apart from the obvious Post officy duties of Stamps, posting and receiving mail. They also have boxes and envelopes. There is a black and white and colour photocopier. The shop sells everyday items like, Fresh milk ð?¥? , Bread, Rolls, Fresh Vegetables, chocolates, sweets, Newspapers, Cigarettes and Alcohol. They staff are lovely. Very kind, very friendly and know the local area if you are looking for advice. There is also a café and a pharmacy nearby too, if you need. So if you're posting a stressful letter and in need of 2 paracetamol then a coffee? This is the best area to go.

Possibly the spiffiest post office I have come across on my travels this one ticks all the boxes and some. Stamps and brown paper packaging aside the shelves are stocked with all manner of edible delights many locally sourced. Nice selection of greeting cards too and an interesting selection of whiskies. Robert Burns souvenirs make a wee appearance courtesy of the post office location bang opposite his birthplace. Friendly staff and parking on the street.

This is a lovely little post office near to Burn's cottage. It is also a shop as well as the post office part and sells a good range of products including local gifts if you're visiting and want to take something home. They also have a good range of postcards and everything is reasonably priced. The staff are friendly polite and helpful. There is free street parking for up to 30mins but if you needed to be in the area for longer there is a free car park next to the Robert Burns cottage.
