Identical experience to previous reviews: ordered over £5k worth of goods. The delivery was a nightmare as they kept cancelling. Still awaiting an item and £100 goodwill gesture from them.AVOID!!!

For a clearance outlet prices are ridiculously still expensive and overall quality of the furniture behind the bling isn't up to much or any better than anywhere else .Everything must go they quote in the shop?Drop the prices dramatically and it might....

DO NOT TOUCH! STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY! We order a bed in May 2020 and paid £1k deposit. The initial time scale for delivering the bed was 4-6 weeks, it was then delayed a further 2 weeks and then delayed again until September. Our bed frame had broken so we cancelled the order and purchased a new bed. The Designer Rooms are refusing to give us our £1k deposit. There is on contract, no terms and conditions, yet they are refusing to co-operate with Trading Standards and give us our refund. We are currently going to Court. Be more careful than we were and go elsewhere!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. No communication No apology No resolutionI was told 6 week deliveryI was told payment was required in full to order10 weeks passed no delivery and no update from Designer roomsI called 3 times to be told the stock hadn?t arrived and there was nothing they could do. Note: no apologyFinally on my fourth phone call a delivery date was agreed Note: 14 weeks after my purchasePlanned delivery day I was contacted at 3pm to be advised the goods would not be delivered as the van had broke down. Note: no apologyFinally the goods arrived, faulty and with the wrong fixturesI had to supply photographic evidence of this despite it being reported by the delivery staffNow being told this cannot be resolved until the supplier re-opens at the end of August, a further 22 days from deliverI fully appreciate that unforeseen situations arise, however communication an apology and an anticipated solution goes along way.

Avoid at all costs. If it goes wrong, they are absolutely hopeless. Communication. Don't wait for it. Resolution of issues. Aim as low as you can imagine, it will be lower still. Do expect to talk to multiple people, none of whom care. Do expect to be let down, multiple times. Do expect broken promises. I have had three delivery dates and still no delivery. I have had promises, apologies and ultimately horrible service. 3 months since I ordered and still no unit.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I really do wish we had looked at Trustpilot before handing over a £300 deposit for a dining room table we were assured would be delivered in 4 weeks. It seems they will tell you anything to get the sale then when problems arise they don't even bother telling you about it. Our table was overdue and when we eventually got in contact with someone we were told the actual delivery was over 10 weeks. We asked for a call from management to discuss taking a display model in the meantime but unfortunately they are only interested in getting the sale, no after sales service at all. Not surprised that they have so many negative reviews on here - they have even hidden they review button on their Facebook page so people can't leave negative feedback but I managed to find the link through other avenues - just enter 'thedesignerrooms/reviews' after the facebook dot com and you will see it.

Went into the Ayr branch and spoke to Vicki who was very patient and helpfull and nothing was too much trouble and was very impressed with her attitude and friendliness and overall customer service.

Ordered a sofa and paid extra for my colour and higher grade leather, paid in full almost 2k. Told 3 weeks later than my colour was in fact discontinued and i was to, over the phone, accept a 'similar colour' and agree to it. I refused this and and said I would come into store and see the new colour myself. When i seen the new colour it was considerably darker and also the higher grade leather i paid extra for was now going to be a standard grade, with no refund of the extra cost. I said no to this and requested a refund. This has now been nearly a week and still no refund. Told manager would be of all week so I am now looking at a minimum 2 weeks for a refund to even be processed, but that depends if the manager actually returns next week. Will probably have to go through the bank for this and the customer service advisors I have spoke to could not care less if they tried.

I was in the Ayr branch today and the staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. I was served by a young gentleman named David who couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be back. I highly recommend a visit

Excellent showroom if you want your home to be unique. Good variety of furniture, mirrors and ornaments that you will not find elsewhere. We visit the Designer Rooms everytime that we are in Ayr, brilliant.

Enjoyed our visit to Designer Rooms Ayr again. The "Girls" were as usual cheery friendly and helpful and we picked our new rug which was exactly what we were looking for and all Covid19 regs correctly adhered to. Many thanks Tam & Jean Belshaw??
