I was treated very well since the moment I went through the door, each assistant was very professional and took time to explain everything to me very clearly, the lady who helped me pick my glasses was very professional in helping me choose with no pressure I was just so relaxed and really happy with the frames I chose, I really recommend this store,

Excellent service from beginning to end, Richard Smart has a very good group of women working for him, each and everyone of them Morven Emma, Susan, Bronwen are all very good at their jobs, in fact Morven chose my current glasses, Boots Bathgate have been looking after my eyes for many, many years now and I admit I would find it difficult & strange to even think about going elsewhere.

Terrific customer service. I met Emma and Bronwen, and both were fantastic. Emma was able to get the ball rolling when i arrived early, and was courteous and very helpful.Bronwen in particular provided a level of service with my eye test that I can only describe as exceptional. She was extremely thorough and provided excellent explanations to my questions. I'll certainly be going back.

I visited here for both myself and my daughters (16) eye test on Monday 9.10.23 I struggle to even get out my bed due to mental health. I was nervous I hadn't eaten in 3 days building up to this day. I was dying inside. I really was. From the second we stepped inside we were hit with smiles. Very welcoming. I explained my situation (mental health) to 1 of the ladys and I can't thank them all enough for the way I was treated. Customer service was absolutely amazing and I immediately felt at ease. My daughter also agrees. What an amazing bunch of ladys in this store and its so refreshing to see. I'd 1000% recommend to anyone looking for an eye test or glasses ect. Really nice people. Wlcant thank them enough. Probably sounds silly but to me it ment a lot.

Far too costly , not competitive, would suggest go elsewhere. The other issue is the quality, I received my glasses abd each lense had a different thickness and when I asked why they charged ne another 55 pounds. You should not need to pay more for inadequate products. Communications was poor also , never told when they would be ready and was encouraged to spend more if I wanted better lenses, overall with non expensive lenses it cost over 500 pounds don't go

One of the best opticians in West Lothian. Having used several opticians over the years from Livingston to Bathgate this is by far the best. The optometrist is very kind and courteous and excellent at his job. The staff are very helpful and not pushy in any way, the shop is small but has a good selection of spectacles both designer and budget. Boots overall tends to be a bit expensive but you get a quality service here. I would definitely recommend Boots Bathgate if you need an eye test

Can't rate highly enough. I had my first eye test today and both the man doing my test (Richard I think) and the lady who helped me through the choosing of my glasses were so incredibly friendly, reassuring and lovely to chat to. I'm so glad I came here for my test.

This is a small shop but they have a good range of glasses. However what really makes this place extra special is the staff. Lisa, Charlotte and the rest of the team are exceptionally professional. They have a kindness and respect for all their customers which goes beyond the call of duty. This is definitely an 11 out of 10 place.
