Whilst the shop is always well stocked the state of the ladies toilets is appalling ! Only one of the taps work and the hand dryer is useless. In the Wishaw store the toilets have a detailed account of when the toilets were last cleaned. Bathgate needs this badly !

Tesco in Bathgate is a convenient shopping destination with a diverse selection of products, making it a go-to choice for many. The store is generally well-maintained, but there are a few key areas where improvements could make a significant difference in the overall shopping experience. One aspect that could benefit from enhancement is the customer service. While the staff is generally polite, a bit more friendliness and proactiveness when approached for help would go a long way. Shoppers often appreciate guidance, especially when searching for specific items or navigating the store. Improved friendliness and assistance from the staff would undoubtedly make the shopping experience more enjoyable.Another area for improvement lies in the communication of staff responsible for picking items for delivery. Ensuring clear and timely communication about order status is essential for building customer confidence and trust. This could greatly enhance the overall online shopping and delivery experience for customers.Weekend shopping can be challenging, as it tends to get crowded, and it can sometimes appear that there may be a shortage of staff to manage the increased footfall. To address this issue, having more staff available during peak times, particularly on weekends, would significantly improve the shopping experience and reduce wait times.Furthermore, there is a need for additional self-checkout stations. With the growing demand for self-service options, providing more self-checkout counters would help alleviate congestion and enhance efficiency at the checkout.Despite these areas for improvement, Tesco in Bathgate remains a reliable and well-stocked supermarket. Its extensive product range and overall store cleanliness make it a popular choice for grocery shopping. With some adjustments to customer service, staff communication, and checkout options, it has the potential to provide an even better shopping experience. Therefore, I would rate it 4 stars, acknowledging its strengths and recognizing the opportunities for improvement.

Visiting my mother and popped into the costa, which is when we were greeted by Cheryl who has EXCELLENT customer service skills. She was so bubbly, enthusiastic and incredibly helpful, as well as very tempting, when promoting in store offers and discounts. Definitely will be back :)

Total joke!! Just been for weekly shop. Really busy and only have all their self service tills along the full shop. Every person before had to have assistance for the shopping. Eventually got to go through and had to pile all my shopping to the side and once paid then had to move to trolley. If you are expecting people to shop here get back on the normal tills!!

For some time this store has been selling a punnet of blueberries for 89p, then recently the price changed to 99p.Fair enough. The other week, they increased the price to £1.59, and marked it as an Aldi price match, which implies a reduction in cost.Shysters!

First time I?ve been back to Tesco after ten years after receiving poor customer service , thought I would go again for something offered on loyalty card , again the cashier , was completely disinterested, deleting the app .

Only merits 3 * because of terrible rising prices (Things go up 0.50-£1 per week). Exception - petrol - one of the cheapest garages around. Anyone else noticed supermarkets are keen to support charity - at OUR expense.

Ordered online and they sent 3 braised beef meals instead of the ham hock I ordered. How is that a good substitute? Woman on WhatsApp chat that worked there was really unhelpful too.

I see the Bathgate store is trying to force on the public to go to self checkouts. Which i and quite alot of others never use. I prefer dealing with a person scanning my shopping. If i want to scan my own i'll get a job doing so and get paid doing so. This has happened for the past three weeks now with queues at the three open tills. All i can say to the manager of the store if you want to force this on us get used to loosing customers. I spend atleast £100 a week. Have now started doing my shopping at Aldis.?
