I was in today and a customer had her beer on the counter to jump back for another item, I got served and while using my card I knocked a bottle and it broke a bit. The attendant then said it was up to the old woman if she was going to pay for another or if I was, obviously I'm not gonna make an old woman pay for it. But the fact the attendant actually made anyone pay for it since it was her fault as she should have moved the bottle out of the way if she done that they wouldn't have been there. It's the fact she expected the woman to pay for it but it broke in her employers shop which happens everywhere and the shop take the loss and claim it back as damages. How was it my fault that she couldn't be bothered to move the items, it was the sheer cheek of it but I paid it as it was apparent if I didn't pay it the older woman would have to.
