Just checked online to see if the shop was open. It said it was, drove there to find it's closed till Sep 15. Would have been nice if this had been updated to let folk know.

Just ordered from here for first time in ages. Best Fish and chips I?ve had and hubby loved his half chicken and chips. The young guy who delivered was so pleasant and friendly and got the food to us still hot despite having to negotiate awful traffic jam. He is a credit to the business. Well done Central chippy, we will definitely be back! Thank you.

Nice to see the shop back under Rossi ownership. Staff were polite, friendly and well presented. I was in the shop for 20 minutes waiting on a fish supper but it was worth the wait. Only got one fish but it was huge and very tasty. Loads of chips too which were great.

can be very hit or miss depending on who is working, food is still decent enough but they have a habit of messing up orders

Order took 2 hours, an hour and 15 mins more than the estimated time. Got in touch for an update and was told 10 minutes when it actually took another 30 minutes. Ended up ordering dominos after an hour and a half and even it was here first!!
