AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!arrived Friday for a 3 night stay upon arrival the rudest women I ever came across on reception hadn't even got the right rooms or name for my booking extremely unprofessional and rude attitude!!Be aware that if your making a booking via the hotel itself you will get no confirmation theres also no contact number that you can get through to as my sister booked rooms also and couldn't cancel because of this issue! So on her arrival the evening she was verbally abused by the woman in charge and told myself and my mother to leave the hotel even though we had a separate booking and tried to throw us out on the street in the middle of nowhere,the man behind the desk was pointing fingers in her face they grabbed keys out of my sisters child hand all because of a fault with there booking system absolutely disgusting behaviour, another man came over at this point and told my sister if she payed 30 pounds for there mistake ... We can stay but we have 5 minutes to make our minds up ....we have never felt so unwelcome the length of time we were staying the attitude and treatment in a different country ruined the 3 day stay. Upon check out the same rude women running the place locked us out of the lobby were we had to leave via a fire exit .The family running this hotel need to do some customer service training felt like discrimination at its finest.Lucky enough we will never be returning to this hotel but we were attending a funeral for family in a local town nearby we sure made sure the locals knew about this treatment and also will be going further about this .only positive thing about this place is the old gent sitting in the lobby was friendly to us and gave us a hello every-day that's the reason for one star .

The worst experience in a hotel in my life, I was staying with my family in this hotel for a funeral. The most unwelcoming reception. The keys were basically thrown at us at check in. The room was not clean whatsoever, dirty bathroom, hairs in the shower and bed, toilet brush was deplorable. The blinds were covered in dust the bathroom mirror was filthy and there was stains on the walls and carpet. I work as cabin crew so I have stayed in many hotels and have never come across more rude staff in my life. There was half empty bottles of shower gel from previous guests I assume. Me my boyfriend and his little sister had food in the restaurant and they made us feel so uncomfortable. The staff all whispered among each-other looking at our bill as we only ordered starters. I ended up leaving the hotel and staying with family after the first night as I was so uncomfortable staying there. This really was a terrible experience I definitely would never go back here.

I cannot say enough about this place!The management is top class.The staff are frighteningly efficient.Three working a very busy restaurant plus checking in guests at the door, and they made it look easy whilst delivering very good food to a full house.The price for the rooms is almost unbelievable.I'll be back!Trust me and book here for food, rooms or both.

I give it 3 stars and not 2 because the restaurant is very good.As for the rooms... Renovated, yes, but they are not cleaned. The first night, inside the bed we found some used socks, which of course, were not ours.They don't make the beds, and if you don't specify that they change your towels, they don't change them.

Personnel peu accueillant, froid et antipathique. Pour le restaurant je vous déconseille les plats italiens, industriels, probablement surgelés et réchauffés au micro honde. La sauce est granuleuse et se fige rapidement dans votre assiette, vous donnant l'impression de manger du mastique. Bref cet endroit est à éviter, l'Ecosse regorge de lieux bien plus agréables.

I work all around the UK & Scotland and stay in many hotels on my travels.Mango the Hotel is a hidden gem.!Nice and tidy clean rooms along with a fabulous restaurant serving very tasty Indian & Italian cuisine.The food is simply stunning and I would highly recommend a stay or a visit to the Mango.Hard working staff looking after a busy hotel and restaurant that is well run and very clean.I shall be staying here again without any doubt.10/10

Stayed there while working in the local area.at check in there was a problem with payment but my firm had already payed in the end I had to pay again to get to my room and they tied to charge me a extra night I didn't want but my receipt only had 3 nights when I had payed for 4.not happy buy this point room was nice had smart TV but had no internet but it was advertised.bed was comfy that's about it.outside the window was a extraction vent from the kitchen but it was broken and was directing the heat and Indian cuisine smells from the owners restaurant at my window so couldn't have my window open and it was the last hot spell. Never again don't recommend this place at 80 pound at night

3x three course meals and drinks under £80 very reasonable and food and service great, staff very tentative and food delivery from order to table was very efficient only taking around 10minutes for 1st course to arrive then tables cleared and set for mains which followed shortly after and same for dessert.I will

Everything was fine, the room was very quiet and comfortable, if I was going to be critical I would say the room could have been cleaner, a good vacuum and the shower wasn't very clean, also when I turned over the duvet there looked like blood stains on it, that's my only criticism, the car park was good, I didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment
