The one star review that l have left is for the young man who served me on Friday afternoon 19/5/23, as he was a polite and well mannered assistant/volunteer. I was intending to buy a boxed cover for a tablet, in the Clarkston Toll Oxfam shop, however l was uncertain if it would definitely fit my new device, so l enquired if l could return it, IF it did not fit. The young man had to make an internal call to his "superior" and l was extremely disappointed with the response "it would have to be returned within 2 days"!!! as this was not practical for me, as l do not live in that area, which would mean l would have to make a specific return journey to obtain a £3.99 refund!!! This was not an option for me due to work commitments and l do not even know if the shop is open on a Sunday! A very unreasonable and impractical answer, as that would be a complete waste of fuel and my time! AND another parking charge for me to pay! not forgetting the negative impact on the environment. The most disappointing part of that silly response, was the fact that the "superior" could not even come to the till area to speak to me about this, and just chose to let the young man deliver THEIR decision! ? Needless to say, l did not make the purchase! How ridiculous to be so unprofessional and impractible in their approach to a very reasonable request. They are obviously making too much money and don't need the custom of the "ordinary man on the street" Their loss of my money and my custom as l will not darken the door of this shop ever again! Nor will I be making any further donations to any other Oxfam! 0/10 for customer relations AND for not teaching the young man good customer service skills. ? There are several other charity shops on this street which ALL had more realistic price tags on their items so this particular Oxfam is obviously out of touch with reality!

Absolutely crazy prices, all their cd's are at least £3, they even had a Westlife one at £4?.A worn down cricket bat was marked at £35 ?.Don't even bother with this disaster of a 'Charity Shop'

Great choice of books and DVD's, but a little more expensive than other charity shops, and rarely has video games.

Check out Oxfam's Clarkston Toll second-hand bridal shop - really lovely dresses, huge range and well looked after by Liz and June.
