I was told my prescription would be ready within 48 hours, several days later they texted me 10 minutes before they closed for the weekend that it was ready for pickup. Couldn?t get my prescription before my holiday and now have to get an emergency script filled at the last minute. If they tell you 48 hours they?re lying, get your prescription well in advance

Not many people go into the shop so its good for fining products that are normally out of stock. Not a huge range of stuff as it is a small shop but good if you need to quickly restock on something.?

Always closed. Went today Sat 25th Mar at 9:40....closed. popped in on way back from work at 1:30...closed. How can this branch be so bad for staff,opening hours and stock compared to every other Boots. For a Main St Boots it is truly the worst.

My wife has just been collect a hairdryer from the Coatbridge Main st branch of Boots. It was ordered on the click and collect service and guaranteed to be in store by today and if it arrives any earlier we would be informed. On arrival she was informed that it was not there yet cone back at 1pm ( when they close for lunch) she just managed to catch the assistant as she was closing the door, and was informed ot come back later. At this point would like to point out that my wife has limited mobility and uses an elbow crutch. She had paid for a taxi there and back because of the aforementioned disabilities ,as I was unable to take her myself as I am currently unwell. I would also like to point out that the said hairdryer was on the shelf and could quite easily have been give to my wife and replaced into stock on arrival of the ordered item. A bit of lateral thinking!. Shocked and stunned!. Needless to say we will not be using this service again. You would think that while businesses are fighting for customers during these difficult times that they would treat there customers better.?PS 4 minutes after posting this review I received a text say that the item is ready for collection in store. Great another two taxis.

Absolutely appalled at the way I was treated Saturday morning(28/5/22) if there was a no stars it would have been that.Visited to pick up a prescription (from Nurse passing through details on Thursday(26/5/2022)Was greeted by un mannered guy, had given my details, explained why there, could tell was looking down on me as if I was some Junkie.Said prescription not ready till June 22,explained nurse had sent through details on Thursday morning? he then went on to lecture me on I?m taking too much as I was given medication on May22?made me feel little even sent me away to go look in my house as must be somewhere.I explained I never received anything.. he insisted I go home and bring the boxes up to him.I left feeling confused as feeling that I have done something wrong.Home checked nothing.few hours later returned again,got a very kind and considerate gentleman who looked at my record seen that the other guy had read my details wrong and shouted him over and showed him his error and was looking at 2021,shrugged his shoulders in front of me as if so what, and no apology was given for wasting my time going home to check.He then started going in a mood saying I need to call NHS24 to get tablets, explained I do not have time and it was his mistake earlier and could have been resolved,he started with the stern words again HAVE YOU NOT GOT ENOUGH TO DO YOU!!I kindly reminded him same answer as earlier I had run out,he huffed and puffed as if this was my fault, I even said to the Teller HE MADE THE MISTAKE BUT IT IS STILL MY FAULT!.He came back without even any apology said you will get a call within an hour to see what they are going to do.. I kindly just walked out.Absolute disgrace of a man acting like some man on a power trip? will never go back to Boots in coatbridge again.

Great service for medication pick up, I've had not had any problems due to Boots it's always been the doctor with missing prescription ect . They have lovely staff, always willing to explain anything, warm greeting for everybody. The staff are very patient I once watched a member of staff spend 10 minutes reading out a form to an elderly man with pretty much no hearing and hadn't brought his glasses, but the staff stayed pleasent and helpful throughout. The price of things are much higher than other shops, I'm surprised when I see anyone buying something from there especially when you can get it cheaper from somewhere else.

Social distancing was an absolute joke, people walking past the one way system to squeeze by you, physically brushing up against you with zero enforcement of the system by anyone. Staff were however very kind and helpful upon serving you at the counter which was comforting for me as someone with social anxiety
