Bought a bike from Coatbridge store. Craig the guy who works in the bike department was great. Other staff not so much. Shop seems to be staffed with a bunch of teenagers who could care less. Took the bike back for a 6 week service, was booked in for a set date bit you go to drop the bike off to be told there no bike techs in. Your then informed that you'll have the bike back in 3-4 days but someone will call when it's ready. No phone call ever happens, I try calling the store but no answer. Pick the bike up a week later and get lied to by the boy who booked the bike in saying someone took your number down wrong... I get the bike home thinking everything's fine but its not. Family friend who's knows a fair bit about bikes takes a look at the bike to discover front and back breaks were not fitted correctly or sitting where they should be making us all wonder if the damn thing was actually serviced or not. Only glad it's an adult who rides the bike and not a child and that we did not pay for this shocking service. Will never buy a bike from here again. Only gets a 2 star due to Craig the bike tech being helpful the first visit.

The wee guy with the beard and the vacant stare on his face, who I believe is some sort of manager or supervisor hasn't got a clue.He'd be better sticking to putting sticky labels on the sale stuff.I've used this store for years, but recently it's went down hill with the customer care.Use the Edinburgh or Clydebank stores if you want any sort of descent service.

We love GoOutdoors. It?s like a family outing when we come here. However we feel like since lockdown the prices have went up quite a bit. We tend to come for small things only and just a wander about now.

Don't bother trying to call this store. I've been trying to cancel an order for 3 days, the call centre can't do anything and told me to call the store. I've called 2 different numbers 19 times in 3 days, and it just rings and rings. I now can't cancel an order which is being shipped to the wrong address. £60 down the drain because of terrible customer service from both the call centre, the website and this store.

Was looking for walking boots for my son, trying to persuade him why he needed boots not trainers to climb a Munro. The assistant patiently explained to him why boots are safer and how they protect the ankles, then helped ensure we had a pair that were a good fit, and that he was happy with his choice. She also helped us get appropriate socks and gave advice on "breaking in" the boots, then helped us carry our items to the till and remove the security tags.

I have been going to this store for years and today was a completely new experience. It was a tale of two halves.I was looking for jackets/zippers and after finding a couple, I moved onto the shoe department. I found a pair I wanted to try on, so I asked the assistant if she had my size. I was directed with a finger point to a wider area of stacked shoes...when she saw I was not impressed she then sighed and took me over to the location and hurriedly slung the box into my hand before walking away. Whilst trying on the shoes, another assistant asked if I needed any help or other sizing and just to give her a shout. She also gave great advice on the shoes, fitting and alternatives for the purpose I required. Total shift in customer service - the lady could not have been nicer and more helpful.Time to pay and we were stood at the checkout whilst the assistant wrestled with the security tag before radioing 3 times for help and three members of staff later the tag was removed. The checkout assistant then proceeded to chat to a colleague whilst serving (if that is what you call it), I advised I was paying with 'Love to Shop' vouchers, they stared at each other, my husband handed them over and both girls took 3 attempts to count them to the correct value he handed them!! 15 minutes or so later we got through checkout having only purchased 4 items!!!!!I thought the bill was high and should have queried it, however I checked it just at the end to allow another customer to be served and noticed the zipper was £40 not £26 as I thought......enter the chatty friend assistant who was advised by the original assistant two checkouts down that we paid by vouchers and to watch....as if we were trying to scam! The new checkout assistant was unsure of the item and unable to explain to a colleague who was looking for a price check. I advised her the name of the item and told her the location to help speed the process up. Along come the manager who then tries to help and I said I could show him, he then says they are new items....surprise surprise there is a hidden pricing tag at the very back and under jackets....I have attached a picture of the clothing rack.....as you can see all price tags are clearly at the front with this 'hidden' price tag barely visible. I am not even sure it was there in the first place...but I will give the benefit of doubt. The set up is dubious to say the least. The manager was not helpful and definitely didn't want to see the customer side....all I wanted was an apology for poor signage as I did want the jacket!I was underwhelmed by the whole second half experience and the majority of staff and attitudes must be at odds with this company. I won't be hurrying back and hopefully someone will recognise there is much needed customer service training for some staff at this store ASAP.
