I generally enjoying taking my business to local firms. I have called this company for two occasions and in both occasions I was told I will recieve a call back the next day with a quote which never took place. Clearly they do not want/need customers. Looks like il be taking my business to a big firm then!

Had our car in for an MOT and service. The car "passed" with advisories on the tyres. Don't use the car very often so after the mot it sat for 2 weeks not driven. When I took it to a tyre specialist to have the tyres changed. The technician was horrified. Stated the tyres were well below the legal limit and the car should not have been declared road legal with tyres that bad. Alignment was also massively off. I called Ryan's to complain and Jim could not care less. Stated he doesn't agree when we raised concerns about it being road legal. And possibility of other potential problems they haven't picked up on. Jim said he disagrees with the 2nd opinion. And if we are worried about the car being road legal to bring it back down. Told him I wasn't happy to do that as they didnt pick it up the 1st time have no faith they will manage it on the 2nd attempt. I told him I would rather a partial refund to defray the cost of having it retested elsewhere. Jim said he will not give a refund as that would be "admitting fault" for their error I may add. Jim did say that if I got it tested elsewhere a bring him the test cert he would pay for that. Asked him to put that agreement in writing as no trust with the business now. He refused. As he is a total cowboy cannot trust that he will honour that. So have had to report garage to the mot inspectorate and claim a charge back through the bank as the service we paid for was not received.I agree with the other review that says he relies on people taking thier word and not knowing better as that is our exact experience. He completely took advantage. Beware if he has told your car is road legal as you cannot trust it and may find yourself fined and given points which they will take no responsibility for. Luckily got the problem fixed before that happened to us.Only recommendation is to avoid completely.

They're supposed to do a leak test before they recharge your Aircon, and they certainly charge you for this. However my AC was only cold for a couple of weeks before it stopped working so clearly they just take the money regardless.Not the only time they've charged for work that clearly wasn't done (I know how to jack up my car and look, it's more than they give customers credit for).Reception were always grumpy, never called to give updates, and even though they book your car in for an 'appointment' they will keep the car all day and leave you to repeatedly chase for updates.They really are relying on business from people who will blindly accept what they're told and don't know any better.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Avoid! Or alternatively take photos of your cars and keys before handing over. They broke my key and then said I was lying and told me I had handed it in like that. James was defensive, rude and condescending. Having trusted this garage for 10 years I am very angry that they gave such incredibly bad customer service and are no longer trustworthy.Service: Auto emissions testing
