“Weekend stay for business and booked at the last minute, so got the only remaining room available, which was a single with private bathroom. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a view across the river. The bathroom as it states has a bath, but no shower, which I took the opportunity to relax in. Breakfast which are cooked to order, are served in the dining room, which has outstanding views up the River Nith. Staff were friendly and helpful. Glencaple is only a 10 minutes drive south of Dumfries and has the Wildfowl Trust reserve close by, along with the historic Caerlaverock Castle.”

“We stayed for three nights whilst working locally. Room was like any other Premier Inn. The only annoyance in the room were the floors-no matter where you walked in the room the floor squeaked. Not great when you are trying to be quiet when returning back to your room after a nightshift. It was fairly quiet apart from that. We did not have breakfast due to the nightshifts. Staff were friendly at reception.”

“Lovely spacious room and bathroom, both spotlessly clean.There was a slight hitch with our booking when we arrived which was quickly sorted out by the lovely girl at reception who them offered a complimentary drink to compensate ?Fab breakfast too ?”

“Situated in the perfect area to explore Belfast. Rooms are typical premier Inn. My room seemed a little tired but was clean and tidy. Would be nice if plug sockets and TV were modernised. Usb sockets or maybe just one in the room would work for me. That aside the staff are lovely, warm and very welcoming.”
