Is this Virgin Money or still Clydesdale Bank? Every time I go into Dundee Branch with my Virgin Bank Card they seem to have a meltdown. Its as if only 1 person working in the branch can speak to you which if in truth makes you feel like a second class citizen. Simple tasks like asking for some changes to existing direct debits and standing orders in your account cant be achieved even after 2 visits in person.

Little dissatisfaction with the bank, transferred money, went without a hitch only to be told 4 days later that there was a problem and they left a message asking me to call them. Looked up the number on their website, both numbers listed not in use. Now having to make a journey back into the branch to find out what the problem is.

Very cross. Searched extensively online to find bank opening hours over Christmas. Nowhere did I find notice that the Dundee branch (or any other) would close early on Friday 23rd and it certainly wasn't in the list of bank holidays. Trying to telephone customer services for information was a joke. I gave up after half an hour waiting. Arrived at the bank at 12.40 to find it had closed at 12.30. An explanatory notice on the door told me so. Might I suggest that a notice on the door is not much help to people who make a long and fairly inconvenient journey to reach the only bank now available?

WORST BANK EVER DEALT WITH. Fourteen weeks ago my Wife and I went in to move money from one account to another. We were met by a male employee who was unhelpful and rude from the onset. We were told that he was too busy serving customers to help us, I reminded him that we were customers. His attitude just proceeded to get worse, at one point whilst standing up he turned to me and said in an aggressive manner " HAVE YOU GOT SOMETHING TO SAY TO ME" I was dumfounded I told him his attitude was appalling he then aggressively turned to my Wife and accused her of trying to undermine him because she said she preferred to visit branch rather than online. We spoke to the assistant Manager who was no help. How they deem this acceptable service is beyond me. We made a formal written complaint to Customer Relations fourteen weeks ago but all we get back is that they are busy. It appears to me that Virgin either do not care enough to allocate sufficient staff to deal with serious complaints or they have that many they cannot cope. I have since emptied my Virgin account.

I'm disgusted with virgin tried phoning them bloody useless I'm thinking of moving my account least the Clydesdale Bank was more helpful than these at virgin only 1 bank in Dundee bloody awful bring back Clydesdale Bank

On a Saturday morning I checked the website to see if the Dundee bank was open. In one place it said ?yes?, in another it said ?not open on Saturdays?. So I phoned, and was told the number was unavailable. Dreadful service.

The Truth about this BankAs a huge fan of Virgin i opened an account and savings account.i have been a customer for over 2 years. no problems at all until now.I got an offer from credit cards to do a money transfer and i did so sending my available money to my current account.Then i find out they have blocked my account and i have NO ACCESS TO MY MONEY, its been 24 hours and they have not given me any information and how long it will take. apparently they are doing a review.They also dont tell you how long this will last ,SO BEWARE, THIS BANK WILL FREEZE YOUR ACCOUNT IF YOU TRANSFER CREDIT CARD MONEY TRANSFERS INTO IT.POOR CUSTOMER relations from the Branch Upwards.I have now launched a complaint and will see it through to the Banking Ombudsman once I have waited for the required period of two weeks.I will also be looking for an alternative bank once my saga is over.what dont they do :-1-TCF - treating customers fairly - does not exist2- Customer - The simply dont care - no matter how much you want to help them do the review.3- Loyalty- None to you no matter how long you have been a customerVirgin Brand you have today LOST a customer not only for Banking but also any other service you provide, i will never return to use your services ever again -YOUR TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS IS SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
